AÇAVIE®(Proprietary Açai Complex) Scientific research validates the incredible antioxidant power of açai. MonaVie has taken it even further, creating a groundbreaking complex: AçaVie, the purest, most potent form of açai available. Consisting of açai and juçara freeze-dried powder and puree as well as Enlivenox® (an açai concentrate that boasts 10 times more polyphenols than traditional açai), AçaVie utilizes a patent-protected process to lock in vital nutrients.
For centuries, the people of the Amazon have revered the açai berry for its unique nutritional properties. Their tribal healers used açai to promote health and longevity, and their warriors consumed it as a source of strength and vitality. A small, round, dark-purple berry, açai is similar in appearance to a grape, but it has a smaller amount of pulp and a single large seed. Experts have referred to the superfruit açai as one of the most nutritious and powerful foods in the world.
ACEROLA  A bright red, soft, and juicy fruit, acerola has been eaten for centuries by the natives of the Antilles, Central America, and Northern South America. Also called the Barbados cherry, acerola is known for having high concentrations of ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant.
APPLE  Originating in Central Asia, apples are fleshy red, yellow, or green edible fruit from a tree of the rose family. They are rich in antioxidant polyphenols.
BANANA Bananas are typically grown in the humid, tropical region of South America and have very beneficial nutritional properties. They are a good source of vitamins A, C, and B6. Bananas are also rich in fiber and potassium.
BEET Native to Europe and Asia (to the East Indies), garden beets are root vegetables. Their deep red color is due to the presence of water-soluble betalain pigments, called betacyanins and betaxanthins (bioavailable phytonutrient antioxidants).
BLUEBERRY Blueberries have a diverse range of micronutrients with notably high levels of manganese and vitamins C and K. They also contain dietary fiber and powerful phytonutrients.
CAMU CAMU Produced on a low-growing shrub found throughout the Amazon, camu camu is round and red when young and dark purple when ripe. These fruits are about the size of lemons and contain a significant amount of vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant.
CAROTENOIDS (Proprietary Blend) A group of phytonutrient compounds consisting of more than 600 pigments found in nature, carotenoids are responsible for the red, yellow, and orange colors found in fruits, vegetables, flowers, algae, bacteria, and fungi. Of these 600 carotenoids, 20–50 of them are found in the human diet. The major sources of dietary carotenoids are red, orange, and yellow fruits and vegetables, as well as green, leafy vegetables. The most studied dietary carotenoids are β-carotene, lycopene, and lutein. Of these, β-carotene has been researched the most with the main benefits being attributed to its pro-vitamin A and antioxidant activities.
CARROT The most consumed plant food in the world, carrots are root vegetables. They contain vitamins (carrots are a major source of vitamin A), minerals, phenolic compounds, and other antioxidant nutrients. The phytonutrients found in carrots include anthocyanins, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, and carotenoids such as beta-carotene and lutein, which contribute to their bright orange color.
CHERRY Cherries are believed to have originated in Europe and Asia. Today, they are grown all over the world and are known for their beautiful red color. A perennial tree fruit, cherries have a tart, juicy pulp and contribute anthocyanins to the diet.
CRANBERRY Native to North America, this dark red, tart berry is packed with nutrients, including potent antioxidant flavonoids and other polyphenolic compounds.
CUPUAÇU This healthy fruit originates in the south and southeastern parts of the Brazilian Amazon. Known for its exotic aroma, it is strong and pleasant smelling. The pulp is white and soft, and has a sour and highly flavored taste.
GLUCOSAMINE A natural substance found in healthy cartilage, glucosamine helps build glycoproteins, which are essential to making and maintaining healthy connective tissue and joint cartilage. MonaVie utilizes a vegetarian (plant-derived) form of glucosamine to help promote joint health, including mobility, flexibility, and range of motion.
GRAPE Grapes belong to the Vitaceae family and are grown and harvested worldwide. They contain antioxidants such as anthocyanins, ellagic acid, and resveratrol.
JABUTICABA Found in Southern Brazil, Jabuticaba is usually thin-skinned and small. When ripe, the fruit can range in color from red to purple or blackish. The whitish pulp is slightly acidic and very sweet. Jabuticaba is known for its antioxidant polyphenol properties and powerful nutritional value.
KIWI Originally known as the Chinese gooseberry, kiwi is a rich source of vitamins A, C, and E, as well as potassium. It is also a good source of flavonoid antioxidants.

PRUNE Domesticated in China more than 2,000 years ago, prunes (dried plums) feature essential vitamins and minerals. They are also rich in phytonutrients and dietary fiber.
PUMPKIN A type of squash, pumpkin is a valuable source of carotenoids and vitamin C. The carotenoids contribute to the bright yellow or orange color of the pumpkin's juicy flesh. Pumpkins also contain other important nutrients such as iron and vitamin B1. When eaten with dietary fat, they aid in the absorption of carotenoids.
PURPLE CARROT Classified as a root vegetable, purple carrot contains vitamins (it is a major source of vitamin A), minerals, phenolic compounds, and other antioxidant nutrients. The phytonutrients found in carrots include anthocyanins, chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, and carotenoids such as beta-carotene and lutein, which contribute to their bright purple color.
PURPLE CORN Native to Peru and used since pre-Incan civilizations, purple corn is cultivated at an elevation of up to 10,000 feet. It is rich in antioxidants and anthocyanins, which are attributed with many biological activities.
PURPLE SWEET POTATO Native to Peru and Ecuador, this root vegetable has a starchy flesh and moist texture. Sweet potatoes contain carotenoids, phenolic acids, anthocyanins, and important vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C and calcium. The carotenoids and phenolic compounds contribute to their vibrant purple color.
RASPBERRY Originating in Asia Minor and North America, raspberries are soft, juicy, and delicious. High in flavonoids, dietary fiber, vitamin C, and manganese, raspberries are also a good source of vitamin K and magnesium.

RED PEPPER Native to North and South America, red pepper is an excellent source of vital micronutrients such as vitamins C and E. Their intense red color is due to carotenoid pigments (capsanthin, capsorubin, capsolutein, β-carotene, β-cryptoxanthin, violaxanthin, and zeaxanthin). Paprika, a spice used in a variety of dishes worldwide, is made by grinding dried red peppers.
REISHI MUSHROOM For 2,000 years, the reishi mushroom has been used to promote health in China, Japan, Korea, and other Asian countries. A reddish-colored, woody macrofungus, it has been referred to as "the mushroom of immortality." Featuring bioactive compounds, the reishi mushroom provides powerful antioxidant benefits.
RHUBARB A perennial vegetable, rhubarb has stalks and large leaves sprouting from thick, short rhizomes (underground stems). Used like a fruit in sauces and pies, the stalks of rhubarb have a strong tangy, sour, and earthy flavor. Though rhubarb grows well in cool climates, it was not introduced to North America until the 1800s; however, for more than 2,000 years, it was grown in East and Southeast Asia where the rhizome and root were used for medicinal purposes.
SWEET POTATO Native to Peru and Ecuador, this root vegetable has a starchy flesh and moist texture.
