On behalf of our Executive Team at MonaVie, we are pleased to welcome Yona Fichman as regional managing director of Eastern Europe and Israel. In his new role, Yona will oversee the development of MonaVie Israel and other international markets in the region.

For more than 15 years, Yona has played an important role at the executive and management level in the direct sales industry in Israel and the surrounding areas. His background includes serving as a regional vice president at a major network marketing company, where he oversaw markets in Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and Africa. In five years at this position, Yona spearheaded the opening of numerous markets. Yona also served as chairman of the Israeli Direct Selling Association for 10 years (1997–2007).

With his proven experience in setting up and running direct selling business in Eastern Europe, Yona is a welcome addition to the MonaVie team and staff already in place in Israel.

"The road to Hawaiian Blue Diamond has been amazing and blessed. We have discovered so many things about ourselves and about people. Our marriage has grown stronger, and our family has grown closer. Maranda and I had both been in corporate America for over a decade and didn't realize that 'golden handcuffs' had shackled us and our dreams. Then, Corbin and Holly Roush showed us the MonaVie opportunity.

"We were both very skeptical at first. When we finally looked at the science and opportunity, we realized this was an opportunity of a lifetime. From that point forward we locked arms with our friends who shared the same dreams and never looked back.

Driving the No. 43 MonaVie E^MV car, Tomas Scheckter finished in 9th place at the IndyCar Series Championship held at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, Saturday, October 10, 2009.

With the drop of the green flag, Scheckter was off to another flawless start, showing he was primed to end his season on a high. The South African went from 12th to 8th position in the first lap and consistently stayed in the top-ten for most of the event. With near perfect pit stops, Scheckter drove a solid race, bringing the MonaVie E^MV car to a 9th place finish.

"It was a physical race and extremely hot," Scheckter said. "I just have to thank everyone on my MonaVie crew; they did an unbelievable job this whole year. It was a great crowd here and great support."

MonaVie E^MV professional wakeboarder Raimi Merritt beat out the world's top women riders to win gold at the International Water Ski Federation Wakeboard World Cup Championship in Liuzhou, China.

Despite the challenging water conditions of the Liu River, the pressure of 50,000 spectators, and competition that featured two former world champions, the 16-year-old Merritt performed two flawless passes to end the meet and take home the Wakeboard World Cup title.

"Getting first place was amazing," Merritt said. "I knew what I needed to do to get the gold, so I went out there and tried my best and pulled it together."
