Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Tanya and Dewey McCrary-Singh

Congratulations to Tanya and Dewey McCrary-Singh from Canmore, Alberta, Canada, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip! Here’s what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

“Although Dewey was a total skeptic when I joined MonaVie, he always supported me in my business. Now, we are so excited to qualify for Cruise for Gold. Initially, we knew a few members of our team were very well positioned to go on the cruise, and we thought we’d focus on helping them. As the deadline got closer we said, ‘let’s go for it,’ and we knew what we had to do to make it happen; and, our team came through. With a 2- and 3-year-old only 14 months apart, life is busy. The cruise is going to be a great break for us, and the kids will have fun with their grandma while we’re away.

“It was pretty intense when we first embarked on attempting for the Cruise for Gold. Our fearless leader, Blue Diamond Joe Wack, formulated a week-by-week format to follow for the 12 weeks leading up to December 23. We worked as closely as we could with our team members who wanted to seriously try for the cruise to give them every opportunity to qualify.

“Thank goodness for our fabulous upline Sherry and Al Huva and Gina and Steve Merritt. They always seem to come and help just when we need it most. ‘Timing is everything.’ Sending Rex Crain and Matt and Kim Curtis in November, along with a little promo we ran, helped us get our team working, planning, and taking actions together. Everyone was working so well together, we kind of felt obligated to not only have our team members qualify for the cruise; we felt we had to be on the cruise, and a sudden urgency that we hadn’t experienced before took hold of us. Our good friends, Ven Cote, Dale St. Amand, and Hubert Lau (our sponsor), helped in a big way too. You’ve got to be willing to accept the help from the good people around you.

“You need to believe you can do it. Imagine you’re already there. Then, take all the actions you possibly can, supporting your team’s efforts and at the same time remaining focused on your own stepping stones, milestones, and targets.

“In 2012, we’ve instituted ‘The Power of 2’ as our team’s theme. By helping everyone on our team go Star and everyone on their teams go Star, and by becoming consistent Star makers, we expect to have several of our team on the next cruise!

“It’s always been a dream to go to the Bahamas, but we’ve always traveled for more practical reasons (e.g., for business or to visit family). On this trip we get to do some business, learn from the best in this industry, and enjoy and get to know our MonaVie family a little better. We can’t wait!”

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Ryan and Jolene Doktorczyk

Congratulations to Ryan and Jolene Doktorczyk from Murrieta, California, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip! Here’s what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

“Qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip is both exciting and an incredible honor. Of course, we are excited to be treated to such an extravagant reward simply for building our MonaVie business, which we would be doing anyway. We are looking forward to the cruise both from the free vacation standpoint and even more so because we will be there with so many other phenomenal people from our MonaVie family!

“We took a look at our business and asked ourselves who we could focus on getting on the cruise with us. We took the time to help them map their own course to success, and we ran together toward the boat! We did as much sponsoring as we could, positioning the new people in depth where they would get the benefit of being in the midst of all the action, and where our leaders would be blessed from the added volume flowing up through their businesses.

“We called folks in our PEAR who had gone inactive and shared the MonaVie Perks program, which led some of them to reactivating. Also, we contacted folks who had some success in the past but let life get in the way and shared the Cruise for Gold. A free cruise is very motivating!

“Make the decision that you will be on the next trip. From there, identify a teammate or two, put the blinders on, and share MonaVie with the world. This business is all about focusing on others. Teach people to become Stars and Star makers. People are actively looking; it’s our job to spread the good news of hope and prosperity!

“In addition to spending time with MonaVie’s incredible leadership and getting certified on the MVP system, the thing we most look forward to is hanging out with so many of our team members! They have worked hard, and many of them have never had a ‘real’ vacation. The fact that it’s free makes it so much sweeter!”

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Eric and Teri Basa

Congratulations to Eric and Teri Basa from Carson City, Nevada, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip! Here’s what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

“We got involved with MonaVie because our dear friend, Tom, asked us. We had been involved with this industry for many, many years and had absolutely no interest in the business side of it; but, because Tom is the most loyal friend anyone could ever have, we signed up on one case of MonaVie Active and no AutoShip. We believed we would finish the case of juice and that would be the end of it. Wow! We had no idea that this one case was the beginning of the most incredible journey and amazing friendships.

“For almost a year, we kept waiting for the computers to go down, for the site to quit working, for us not to get paid on time, and for the company to go under. That had been our experience in the past. We can’t begin to tell you the excitement we felt when we finally realized that the MonaVie leadership was strong and that they were forward thinking for our benefit and they cared what their distributors thought. Dallin and his team never cease to amaze us. We feel so blessed to have the honor of being part of this company.

“The team we have built with MonaVie has learned to work together as a team and utilize each other’s strengths. The friendships that have come out of this journey will last forever, and our children, Brandon and Erica, have also learned about hard work, teamwork, and sacrifice. The reason for our family’s success is an upline and leadership that continues to gain knowledge and progress towards the future. It’s also because of a downline that has been willing to unselfishly do whatever it takes to help each other accomplish their goals and dreams. We have learned that you not only lean on your upline, you can also learn from your team that is in the trenches with you. That daily activity has been our biggest blessing.

“When our family hit Gold, we learned a very valuable lesson. We had decided to share the products with everyone we knew just so we could get on this cruise. We believed that this wasn’t really the way we build the business, but it would get us on the cruise (silly us). What we really found out was that by sharing the product with people that were on our ‘chicken list,’ many didn’t know what we did and many didn’t know anything about MonaVie.

“After they purchased to help us, they loved the product and we now have friends and new friends who want to be sponsored and build their own businesses, or who want to become customers and receive MonaVie on a monthly basis. What started as a goal ended with learning that this is the correct way to build our business. All the things we have been learning since we started with MonaVie (make a list, contact, set a date, etc.) were exactly what we did to make it to Gold and get on this cruise. Now, it is so much easier to share because we aren’t scared to talk to people anymore.

“Going on this cruise is going to be such a blessing because we are going to get to spend time with our dear, dear friends (all seven couples) who made it with us. It has also been a great lesson for our children because they see that the reward equals the sacrifice. What a blessing!”

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Kathleen and Ron Howard

Congratulations to Kathleen and Ron Howard from Reno, Nevada, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip! Here’s what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

“I turned down the opportunity from family and friends in 2008, 2009, and 2010 before my path crossed with a MonaVie distributor who was wearing a MonaVie-branded shirt—a complete stranger! I told him that my mom drinks MonaVie and has tried to get me to drink it. He told me his story, and I really connected with him. He gave me his business card and told me to check out his website. He told me to get MonaVie Active from my mom and start on it right away. He explained in detail what I needed to do: two ounces in the morning, two ounces in the evening, and don’t miss one day. I did exactly what he said, and within 3–4 weeks I was feeling better overall. I knew I was on the right path!

“I started looking at more of the products that MonaVie offered. MonaVie gave me my life back! I began walking with my husband 1–2 miles a day. In December 2010, I began drinking one MonaVie RVL shake for breakfast, one shake for dinner, and eating a well-balanced lunch. I ate the RVL snack bars and took the RVL dietary supplements between meals. I went from 245 pounds to 190 pounds. I have so much more energy. My life has truly been changed!

“In June 2011, my husband and I went to Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the time, Ron was not 100 percent on board with the MonaVie business. While driving back to Reno from Salt Lake City, he said that he would be more active in the business and would try the MonaVie RVL program. This is his story:

“My name is Ron Howard. I have always felt that I was overweight. I was always the fat kid at school. Feeling like you are the fat kid does not give you a very good feeling. You are always self-conscious. Now at 50 years old, I no longer feel that I am the fat kid. I feel that I will be able to enjoy my life with my wife and son for a very long time.

“MonaVie RVL has helped me realize that I do not need to keep on the path that I was on. I am sure that if I kept on the path that I was on, I would have been shortening my life. For those who know me, my wife and son are most important in my life. I want to be around (not fat round) for them. I have so much more energy now than I have had in a long time. I have even started playing wallyball twice a week with a group of new friends. Yes, new friends. The weight loss has allowed me to meet new friends that I would not have met without the weight loss because I would not have been playing the new sport. So, not only have I been gaining better health, I am gaining a new world of friends, activities, and personal growth.

“I started the program at 241 pounds, and I am now down to 210 pounds. For those who have not carried an extra 31 pounds with them for a long time, it wears and tears you down. Try picking up a 25-pound bag of flour at the store and carrying it around with you while you shop. That was what I was carrying with me all the time. Your body begins to get very tired of carrying that extra weight and lets you know it. Sometimes your body tells you in ways that you don’t recognize, and other times it’s like a cold, hard slap in the face. I am tired of both delivery methods and prefer to be healthy. I will not stop telling people about MonaVie and RVL. Thank you, MonaVie.

“If anyone you know is overweight, please share this story and MonaVie RVL with them immediately. You may save their life! It may be your daughter or a complete stranger. Think about it as a random act of kindness—something we should all be doing more of!

“We would like to thank MonaVie, Kathleen’s mother Linda, her friends Karen and Paul, upline Shelly and Mike, Ed and Stephanie, stranger Kevin (not a stranger anymore!), friend Dave and his wife Cindy, and all the wonderful MonaVie family. You are all a part of changing our life forever! We are Kathleen and Ron Howard, and we are MonaVie!”

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Dale and Karen St Amand

Congratulations to Dale and Karen St Amand from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip! Here’s what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

“Karen and I are thrilled to qualify for the Cruise for Gold. Our niece and nephew, Shawn and Jenn St Amand, also qualified for the cruise, which makes it even more exciting. Joining us is a number of other couples on our team.

“If not for the leadership, friendship, and encouragement of our sponsors, Joe and Colleen Wack, we would not be going or making a great part-time income. The expression ‘many hands make light work’ comes to mind in growing a business. We are blessed to have so many friends, old and new, on our team.

“MonaVie is blessing people all over the world, and Karen and I are proud to be a part of this organization.”

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Paula and Greg Lazzari

Congratulations to Paula and Greg Lazzari from Cortland, Ohio, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip! Here's what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

"When my husband and I started our journey with MonaVie in 2009, we had amazing health results on the product. Through the education and support from MonaVie, we have really altered our family's view on health, what we put into our bodies, and have been able to help many others do the same. Qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip is a public statement of a milestone for us. We pushed through the disbelief and made examples of our own bodies and health. This award is opening some of our friends' and family's eyes to the world of health and wealth through helping others.

"In September 2011, Greg and I made the decision that we were going to submit to the system that was in place and earn the cruise so we could show others how it can be done. I started each week by contacting my team members and helping them set weekly goals, create a plan of action, and then help them execute it. Then, I would look at my own list of prospects, contact and invite, show the plan, and place product with 4–5 new people per week.

"We led our team by example! We were on the conference calls, having our own tasting parties, sponsoring new people, reading for inspiration and the development of new skills, and making the necessary sacrifices for success. We also focused on meeting people where they were. It is key to ask a lot of questions, see what is important to your people, and then help them get what's important to them. If making an additional $20,000 per year is their goal, then we would walk them through that process and point them to that goal. This business is about helping people get what they want, not imposing your goals onto them. We ask everyone for a goal they want to achieve within the next 6–12 months, break down the activities they will need to do daily, weekly, and monthly to reach that goal, and then get their agreement that they are willing to do the activities.

"To qualify for any level within MonaVie, you have to first make the decision that you will do it. Then, set a date that you want to accomplish it by and spell out the daily activities you need to do to reach the goal. The best way to do this is to stay plugged into your active upline, attend all of the events with your team, participate in the corporate and upline conference calls, and do something every day to grow your business.

"We have launched a 10,000-pound-weight-loss challenge for our area, and we went out and sponsored some fitness professionals as distributors to help lead the RVLution in our area. We will be offering free fitness classes, free tastings of the RVL and MonaVie juice blends, and education on health and fitness topics. We are showing members of our team how to implement this same challenge and program through starting a RVLution. We now have a great team growing in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area that will launch this RVLution too. With the 1, 2, Free! program, it is simple to encourage each person to come back to the next meeting with two friends who are also wanting to take control of their health.

"My husband and I have not been on a vacation without our three children in 12 years, so we are looking forward to some time together. We are excited to be surrounded by other likeminded people so that we can return home charged and ready to help eight people reach the Cruise for Gold by July of this year.

"We want to give a big thank you to MonaVie, our amazing upline who always believes in us, encourages us, and demonstrates the leadership qualities we are trying to develop within ourselves, and our amazing team of distributors. Thank you all for your dedication, commitment, and perseverance. Even though we will enjoy going on this cruise, we know we will enjoy even more seeing others qualify to go on the next one!"
