The theme of Thursday's training meeting at the Ruby Fly-In was leadership. The wealth of knowledge on the subject was abundant as several members of the MonaVie corporate team were in attendance to impart their expertise to MonaVie's next generation of leaders.

Black Diamond Executives Encourage and Instruct
Royal Black Diamond Executives Scott and Sue Olsen and Black Diamond Executives Joe and Patrice Licciardi were one of the first to address the gathered Rubies. Scott, one of MonaVie's very first distributors, expressed the value of turning vision into action.

"When we started MonaVie five years ago, it was just a vision," he said. "But, a vision isn't enough. You have to become the vision."

Scott and his family nearly went bankrupt in their early days as distributors, and he says this experience taught him the key to facing adversity as you grow your MonaVie business. The trick is to become "a prisoner of hope."

"A prisoner is chained to something," Scott said. "For me and Sue, we got chained to MonaVie. Make the decision today to make MonaVie your home, and I promise you that your life will change forever and so will the lives of hundreds of thousands."

Proclaiming the Rubies who filled the room to be the future leaders of MonaVie, Joe Licciardi told the audience what he says he wished he had known when he became a Ruby. And, that is to double their efforts. By doubling efforts, these new Rubies will be able to create more leaders in their organizations, Joe said.

"The more leaders you create, the greater your foundation will be."

To Be a Great Leader, Be a Great Follower
International Distributor Ambassador Randy Schroeder sustained Joe's message when he likened the distributors' current status as Rubies to being boats in a rising tide. A rising tide, Randy said, only lifts boats that are fully in the water. MonaVie's tide will surely continue to rise, but if the assembled distributors wish to rise along with it, they must continue to advance in ranks by creating leaders within their organizations; however, Randy added that it's easier to build volume than it is to build the leadership needed to support the volume.

That is why he stressed the value of becoming great leaders themselves by learning to become great followers. To do this, Randy issued a challenge to distributors to identify a leader in MonaVie that they would like to emulate, and then follow as closely as possible what that leader has done to attain his or her position.

"I invite you to hold yourself to a very high standard," Randy said.

MonaVie's Pillars of Health
One of MonaVie's most valuable leaders who holds himself and his team to the highest of standards is Vice President of Product Management Jeff Graham, who was at the Ruby Fly-In to talk about MonaVie's growing family of products, including newly released MonaVie (M)m?n.

Depicting the MonaVie products as pillars of joint health, heart health, and healthy energy supported by a solid foundation of antioxidants, Jeff characterized MonaVie (M)m?n as a new pillar of immune health. All of these products together serve to provide consumers with an array of nutrients that has never previously been found in typical American diets.

"The average American only eats three edible plant foods per day out of more than 200,000 available," he said. "And, the typical American diet includes only 20 different foods. By sharing MonaVie, you are helping to bridge the nutritional gap."

Social Media, Preferred Customer Program, Top Retailers Bonus
Chief Blogger Shante Schroeder and Chief Financial Officer Devin Thorpe complemented the day's speakers by arming distributors with information that will help them break through to the next rank on their way to Black Diamond and beyond.

Shante explained that social media outlets including Facebook and Twitter are amazing ways to tap into a seemingly endless customer base online. By being apart of the MonaVie conversation online, you can build meaningful relationships with literally thousands of people at a time. Obviously, social media will never replace the essential personal connection that tasting parties and face-to-face interaction provide; rather, social media is a way to supplement these activities and make additional contacts.

"I encourage you to participate in this community and help build it," Shante said.

Devin Thorpe's presentation helped distributors to understand the value of preferred customers as they strive to advance in rank. Take it to the Next Level
More than just an opportunity to receive valuable training, the Ruby Fly-In is a time for Ruby Executives to be rewarded for their blossoming businesses. Following Thursday's meeting, the distributors headed to Soldier Hollow Resort to enjoy snow tubing and dinner.

Friday, distributors descended upon Park City, Utah, to ski, snowboard, and shop while others stayed at the Zermatt Resort & Spa for European-style spa treatments. For the distributors in attendance, the Ruby Fly-In was a spectacular introduction to the world of MonaVie incentive trips and surely gave them something to ponder, along with Founder, Chairman, and CEO Dallin A. Larsen's words, as they traveled home.

"I want to thank you for doing what was necessary to get to Ruby," Dallin said. "Now, I want you to know that we're counting on you to take it to the next level."

2008 Orlando Super Regional Recap

In the Orlando World Center Marriott's most spacious ballroom, thousands of MonaVie distributors gathered to celebrate their successes and to motivate each other to achieve even greater accomplishments at the 2008 Orlando Super Regional. With five of the world's most luxurious vehicles on display, the stage was literally set to inspire.

Easily two of the most inspirational executives in direct selling, Dallin Larsen, founder and president of MonaVie; and Henry Marsh, executive vice president and cofounder, did what they do best by rewarding MonaVie's top distributor leaders and stirring its newcomers to become even more engaged in the MonaVie opportunity.

Dallin's Welcome

Dallin kick-started the conference with an impassioned speech centered on the power of belief. MonaVie's seasoned and commanding president spoke of his upbringing in rural Idaho along with his nine siblings. Dallin told the 4,000 in attendance that it was his parents' rearing that has made him the man he is today.

"I was taught by my wise and amazing parents that all things are possible to those who believe," Dallin said. "I have put those words to the test, and they've proven true."

He then challenged the gathered distributors to evaluate what they believe. "Do your beliefs truly create your actions which, in turn, chart your destiny?" he inquired.

Dallin implored the group to never stop believing, no matter the ups and downs in their MonaVie businesses and in their lives. "I see you walking across the stage to be recognized for your greatness!" Dallin exclaimed. His words would become reality as the Super Regional continued. Click here to watch Dallin's speech.

Exotic Car Awards Program

The lights shined on five exotic cars throughout the day—a Ferrari F430 Spider, a Maserati GranTurismo, a Bentley GT Convertible, a Rolls Royce Phantom Black, and a Lamborghini Murcielago. The main event of the day came when Dallin made two major announcements revealing the cars' purpose.

Introducing the spectators to Tom duPont, founder of duPont REGISTRY, Dallin announced MonaVie's partnership with the company—the premier classified marketplace to find new and used highline luxury cars for sale—to create MonaVie's Exotic Car Awards Program. With Mr. duPont's introduction, Dallin announced that Brig and Lita Hart have become the first distributors to achieve MonaVie's newest rank—Crowne Black Diamond!

Along with $1 million in cash, Dallin gave the Harts the keys to the car of their choice on stage. With the crowd urging them on, the Hart family chose the orange Lamborghini Murcielago.

The MORE Project

Tom duPont wasn't the only special guest to make an appearance at the meeting. Mauricio Patrocinio, general operations director of Brazil, was on hand to personally thank distributors for building the present and future of MonaVie in Brazil.

Distributors also heard from Sergio Ponce, director of the MORE Project, who spoke of the children who are benefitting from the non-profit organization. Gabby DiPace, the 18-year-old daughter of MonaVie distributors Kryst’l and Tom DiPace (also professional sports photographer), amazed the audience with "Lost Dreams," a song she wrote about Brazil's disenfranchised citizens. Sergio's touching stories and Gabby's beautifully mesmerizing performance moved MonaVie's Black Diamond distributors to combine for a $500,000 donation to the MORE Project on the spot.

Distributor Recognition

As is customary at regional meetings, Ruby-level distributors and above graced the stage to be acknowledged by their peers. The energy in the crowd began to swell when Dallin and Henry invited Hawaiian Blue Diamond distributors to the stage to receive their MonaVie-branded surfboards.

Following the presentation of the surfboards, the lights dimmed and the audience turned its attention to the 10 projection screens around the room to watch the documentaries of five of MonaVie's newest Black Diamonds: Brian and Jacqueline Thayer, Brian and Jill Cattano,  and Grayson Maule. Each took the microphone and shared his or her success story. Brian Cattano even electrified the crowd with a sampling of his break-dancing skills.

Additional Black Diamonds Tim and Amy Marks, Scott and Teresa Henry, and Orrin Woodward were also recognized for reaching the prestigious rank; however, the moment in the spotlight was not over for the Woodward family. Having also surpassed Royal Black Diamond status to become Presidential Black Diamonds prior to Saturday's event, the Woodwards were rewarded with checks totaling $400,000. Dallin and Henry were just getting started.

Steve and Gina Merritt, MonaVie's newest Imperial Black Diamonds, were handed two briefcases containing $600,000, and the Harts' Crowne Black Diamond presentation followed. Scott Henry's rousing rendition of "You Raise Me Up" capped the 2008 Orlando Super Regional.

During his opening remarks, Dallin told the room of distributors to believe that through persistence they can accomplish whatever they want through MonaVie. After Saturday's Super Regional, it was impossible not to believe.

Emerald Extravanganza

Emerald Extravaganza rewards Emerald-level distributors and above with a fun-filled vacation. It's MonaVie's way of thanking its blossoming leaders for their hard work and dedication.


Emerald Extravaganza Recap

MonaVie proved yet again that no company in the direct selling industry rewards its distributors quite like MonaVie at the recently concluded Emerald Extravaganza.

Distributors arrived at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday, November 12, ready for a fun-filled vacation at the "Happiest Place on Earth." Awaiting them in their hotel rooms were special MonaVie gifts, including brand new MP4 players that contained a video message from MonaVie Founder and President Dallin Larsen, commemorative Emerald Extravaganza backpacks, and a bottle of MonaVie Active. The event officially kicked off that night with a lavish welcome dinner at the Animal Kingdom's Harambe Village. Distributors spent Thursday hopping between Disney World's amazing theme parks and enjoying the rides and atmosphere.

Friday began with an extravagant breakfast meeting at Epcot. Dallin spoke to the company's budding leaders, congratulating them for their achievements in MonaVie and encouraging them to strive for even greater success. Following the breakfast, distributors and their guests had the opportunity to meet and greet with some of Disney's world-famous characters. Then, it was time once again to enjoy the parks.

Later that night, distributors gathered one more time for a farewell dinner at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Dining outdoors, the group was in for an unexpected surprise just before rain forced an early end to the meal. Watching a large projection screen mounted on one of the surrounding Hollywood Studios buildings, the party witnessed the live launch of space shuttle Endeavour from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Seconds after lift-off, the actual space shuttle soared overhead directly behind the screen. It was a breathtaking way to end another unforgettable MonaVie trip.

Besides getting much needed rest and relaxation, distributors spend time training, networking, and exploring the sites' natural beauty.

Stunning Maui, Hawaii, provided the setting for this year's Diamond Destination, as hundreds of Diamond Executives and above spent a week on the island paradise in the middle of the Hawaiian chain. From the moment they arrived at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa, distributors settled into a serene retreat that granted them the most opulent luxuries the island has to offer in food, entertainment, and relaxation.

The guests gathered Sunday morning in the Molokini Gardens for a welcome breakfast befitting the grand occasion it was. Surrounded by towering palm trees and bordering the ocean and a saltwater lagoon, the Molokini Gardens represent just a fraction of the exquisiteness of Maui and its neighboring islands.

Throughout the week, distributors discovered Maui for themselves in a variety of ways. Breathtaking helicopter rides provided an intimate look at the West Maui Mountains as well as Haleakala, one of the world's largest dormant volcanic craters. Hundreds of beautiful waterfalls could also be seen from the skies of Maui.

On the ground, distributors drove the Road to Hana, a 42-mile trek along the largest rainforest in the United States. The journey was one for all the senses to enjoy, as adventurists witnessed spectacular seaside cliffs and breathed in the tropical aroma of the rainforests. Distributors also took to the waters to surf, snorkel, scuba dive, and kayak in the deep blue shores of the Pacific.

When not traversing the island and oceans, distributors basked in the extravagant amenities at the Grand Wailea Resort. Among the resort's magnificent offerings were a river pool that propelled swimmers on a ride down rapids and swift water, passing a swim-in cave with bubbling hot springs, a hidden sauna, and a water elevator to lift guests back up to the start. Guests also received world-class treatment at the resort's award-winning spa and honed their skills on the hotel's 18-hole golf courses and 14 tennis courts.

Before the trip ended, distributors were treated to an unforgettable Hawaiian luau, complete with a traditional Hawaiian feast, a showcase of songs and dances telling the tale of the first islanders' migration to the Hawaiian Islands, and a dazzling fire-knife dance.

Hooray for Hollywood…and MonaVie!

LOS ANGELES [August 2010] – At the 2010 Emmy Awards Weekend, a classy and radiant star set the red carpet afire and wowed audiences with a performance the Emmys would be proud to have nominated. That star was MonaVie (M)m?n, of course! MonaVie Chief Blogger Shante Schroeder and Social Media Promotions Manager Mike Jensen spoke with the Hollywood stars and media and handed out samples of MonaVie (M)m?n as part of the Emmy Style Lounge.

Actors stopped by from such popular shows as Glee, True Blood, The Gates, One Tree Hill, America’s Next Top Model, Dexter, Days of Our Lives, Hung and Weeds. Movie stars from Avatar and The Expendables also came out.

The consensus among all who stopped by was that MonaVie (M)m?n is great. In fact, Eric Roberts, star of The Expendables, wanted more than a single bottle: he wanted an entire case! Stars that visited the MonaVie booth were also able to learn about MonaVie’s charitable efforts in Brazil through The MORE Project. Actors were more than willing to put their autographs on a bottle of MonaVie (M)m?n that will be auctioned off at a later event to raise money for The MORE Project. MonaVie also ran a promotional giveaway of 2 SWAG bags to distributors who commented or re-tweeted MonaVie posts on Facebook and Twitter. Stay tuned as we will be announcing the winners shortly.

MonaVie EMV Wakeboarder Raimi Merritt Defends World Cup Title

CHUNCHEON, South Korea [August 30, 2010] – MonaVie EMV Wakeboarder Raimi Merritt defended her title at the Waterski and Wakeboard World Cup in Chuncheon, South Korea, to win her fourth World Cup in three years.

“I knew I had to give it everything I had to take the win,” Merritt said. “Opening up with two 540s was gutsy, but I think it was my S-Bend that clinched the gold.”

Following the victory, Merritt remains the International Waterski Wakeboard Federation’s No.1-ranked pro women’s wakeboarder. She finishes the 2010 season in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the WWA Wake Park National Cable Championships, September 17–19.

MonaVie’s Tomas Scheckter Leads the Pack at 2010 Indianapolis 500

[Speedway, Indiana] – May 30, 2010 – A little more than midway through the 94th annual Indianapolis 500 on Saturday, May 30, Tomas Scheckter maneuvered into first place. Driving the No. 23 MonaVie EMV car, the world watched live as Tomas held onto the lead for five laps, an impressive ascension considering the South African was in the 20 spot when the green flag dropped.

Accelerating from 20th to 14th place in the race’s first lap, Tomas looked to be in top form handling the MonaVie EMV machine. He capitalized on his initial success throughout the race, finally surpassing the competition for laps 109 through 113. Unfortunately, bad luck and radio trouble stood in the way of Scheckter’s first Indy 500 victory. Tomas brought the car back in one piece for a 15th-place finish—his fourth-best career finish at the Indy 500.

“I had a great car today,” Scheckter said after the final lap. “It was a good, solid run. We were a very solid team today, and I think that showed.”

Dallin A. Larsen Named CEO of the Year


MonaVie congratulates Founder, Chairman, and CEO Dallin A. Larsen on being named Utah Business magazine’s CEO of the Year!

Chosen from a group of more than 70 nominees, Dallin was named among eight Utah CEOs leading their companies to success. He will be honored at an awards luncheon to be held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, on March 25, 2010. MonaVie Cannondale’s Alex Grant Top American Finisher in Costa Rica


[Costa Rica] – November 14, 2009 – MonaVie Cannondale placed three of the top-10 finishers at the recently concluded La Ruta de los Conquistadores on Saturday, November 14, in Costa Rica.

Alex Grant took second overall, earning him the honor of being the highest placing American in the race. The last time an American finished that high at La Ruta was seven years ago when MonaVie Cannondale’s own Tinker Juarez also placed second. Following closely behind Grant were teammates Jeremiah Bishop and Ben Sonntag who finished in seventh and ninth place, respectively. MonaVie EMV Athlete Wins Silver Medal at World Games

MonaVie EMV professional wakeboarder Raimi Merritt narrowly missed winning gold at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, as the 16-year-old finished seven-tenths of a point behind the overall winner to take home the silver medal.

"It was an amazing experience," Merritt said. "To be able to fly across the world and wakeboard on an amazing lake with all those spectators was awesome. I'm going to cherish this experience."

Merritt was one of only two female riders selected to represent the United States at the 2009 World Games, which are held every four years and showcases sports not featured at the Olympic Games.

Merritt will compete next at the Pro Wakeboard Tour in Reno, Nevada, August 14–16, 2009, and then at the WWA World Championships in Orlando, Florida, August 27–30, 2009.

MonaVie EMV Pushes MonaVie-Cannondale Bicyclist to First Place

MonaVie-Cannondale bicyclists Sue Butler and Benjamin Sonntag each had top-10 finishes in the span of three races recently. Butler placed first in the Mount Hood Classic in Oregon, while Sonntag placed sixth and tenth in races in Austria and Germany.

Looking for a little extra training before competing in the BC Bike Race in British Columbia, Canada, at the end of June, Butler decided to enter the Mount Hood Classic in her home state of Oregon. MonaVie is poised to compete for the checkered flag at this year's Indianapolis 500, as Tomas Scheckter is slated to race in the No. 19 MonaVie car. In addition, MonaVie is sponsoring Will Power, who will vie for the victory wearing a MonaVie-branded helmet.

Held annually over the Memorial Day weekend and billed as "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing," the Indianapolis 500 is one of the oldest motorsport events and the largest single-day sporting event in the world.

The 2002 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year, Tomas Scheckter will begin the race at pole position 26 for Dale Coyne Racing. Among his career highlights, Tomas won the 1999 Formula Opel Euroseries Championship with a record eight victories and eight poles, breaking all the winning records in the process. After stints with Formula Nissan and the Formula 3 Series, Tomas has been competing in the IRL IndyCar Series since 2002.

Will Power, who will race at the number nine pole position, started out in the Formula Ford State Series, earning the Queensland State Championship. He then made the move to the Australian Formula 3 Championship placing second overall, before moving on to the British F3 and World Series by Renault Championships. He made his IndyCar Series debut in 2008.

Catching Up with MonaVie-Cannondale

The MonaVie-Cannondale team recently secured four wins in four different states. In addition to Alex Grant's victory at the Intermountain Cup in Logan, Utah, MonaVie-Cannondale riders Jeremiah Bishop, Bryan Alders, and Sue Butler turned in terrific performances. Dirt, Sweat, and Gears—Fayetteville, Tennessee

The fourth of eight stops on the U.S. Mountain Bike National Calendar, the Dirt, Sweat, and Gears race is a test of "ultra endurance." MonaVie-Cannondale racer Jeremiah Bishop passed that test with flying colors, overcoming more than 110 miles and massive competition in the men's elite field. Fayetteville received seven inches of rain in the week prior to the race, and downpours began at the starting gun. Jeremiah said the course was the worst conditions he's ever raced in.

"No strategy could prepare a man for what we underwent," he said. "It was hard to ride, even downhill. It was a test of survival."

Front Range 50-Miler—Boulder, Colorado

Going into his first 50-mile mountain bike race, Bryan Alders didn't know what to expect. As it turned out, Alders had nothing to fear. He finished the race, which consisted of five laps of 10-mile loop, in three hours and three minutes for a rare mountain bike racing average of 16 mph. Alders competed at the top with two other opponents for much of the race. Halfway through the final lap he made a successful run at first place.

"I decided to give it a little gas and see what the other two riders had left," Bryan said. "I could see them start to struggle, so I kept the gas on, which was all I needed to take the win."

Cascade Chainbreaker—Bend, Oregon

Sue Butler cruised to a victory at the Cascade Chainbreaker, crossing the finish line nearly eight minutes before her closest competitor. After charging out early, Butler steadily built upon her lead over a course that featured short, power climbs, one long ascent, and a traipse along a winding dry creek bed.

"It's just a fun course," Butler said. "It's one of my favorite courses. Chainbreaker was my very first race ever in 2003 as a beginner."

Bart Gillespie Wins Utah Cyclocross Series Race

[Ogden, Utah] – October 18, 2008 – MonaVie-Cannondale bicyclist Bart Gillespie won the Men’s A division in the third race of the 2008 Utah Cyclocross Series in Ogden, Utah, on Saturday, October 18.

Gillespie is gunning for his sixth consecutive Utah Cyclocross Series championship dating back to 2003. The annual UCS consists of 10 or more races in which competitors accumulate points based on where they finish in each race.

In cyclocross racing, bicyclists must complete several laps on short courses that feature different types of terrain as well as obstacles that require riders to quickly dismount and carry their bikes. The photo shows Gillespie effortlessly bunny hopping one of these natural barriers.

MonaVie-Cannondale Four-Man Relay Finishes First in Suzuki 24 Hours of Moab

[Deseret News]—October 13, 2008—The MonaVie-Cannondale four-man relay team of Bart Gillespie, Bryan Alders, Ben Sonntag, and Alex Grant took first place in the Suzuki 24 Hours of Moab race in Moab, Utah. The squad completed the most laps overall (21 laps), covering the equivalent of just over 313 miles. Finishing third overall with 19 laps completed was another MonaVie-Cannondale crew—Matt Ohran, Shannon Boffeli,Hienrick Dieters, and Isaac Wilson.

Tinker Juarez placed second in the Suzuki 24 Hours of Moab solo division race, in a grueling competition covering 15 miles of rugged terrain. The 14th annual Suzuki 24 Hours of Moab race drew teams from all over the world, including 5,000 racers, support crews, and spectators.

Sue Butler of MonaVie-Cannondale Wins Star Crossed

[Redmond, WA]—September 20, 2008—MonaVie-Cannondale cyclist Sue Butler reigned victorious against Canadian opponent and champion Wendy Simms, as they went head to head in the seventh annual Redmond Star Crossed. The achievement marks the first UCI win of Butler's career.

[ALBERTA]—July 29, 2008—MonaVie-Cannondale cyclists Jason Sager, Bart Gilliespie, Bryan Alders, and Blake Harlan proved a formidable team, winning the four-person overall at the World Solo 24 Hours of Adrenalin Championships.

The event, which was held at the Canmore Nordic Centre in Canmore, Alberta, July 26-27, gathered 1,400 competitors. MonaVie-Cannondale rode 27 laps of the 10-mile course—four more than the next fastest team—in a time of 23:19:44.

MonaVie-Cannondale Teammates Battling for No. 1

[Fayetteville, Tenn.] – May 8, 2008 – MonaVie-Cannondale cyclist Tinker Juarez won the 12-hour Dirt Sweat and Gears race in Fayetteville, Tenn., on May 3, marking his first National Endurance Calendar win of the year.

With the victory, Juarez is now tied with teammate Jason Sager for the top spot in the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Ultra-Endurance Calendar Standings.

MonaVie-Cannondale Cyclists Finish Strong in Arizona

[Fountain Hills, Ariz.] – April 6, 2008 – MonaVie-Cannondale cyclist David "Tinker" Juarez placed third, while Matt Ohran picked up ninth place in the men's field at McDowell Mountain Park at the National Mountain Bike Series in Fountain Hills, Arizona.

The three-day race was marked by scorching temperatures and the threat of dehydration, as many athletes experienced cramping and other setbacks. In fact, Ohran had to climb back from 30 spots down after making an unscheduled water stop.

"It was 90 degrees, and the person feeding me wasn't there to hand me a bottle," Ohran recounted. "I had to pull over and get one from the neutral feed table and lost about 30 places; however, I ended up working myself back into it."

After the race, the entire venue listened to Ohran give an interview detailing his amazing comeback.

MonaVie-Cannondale Cyclist Dominates Race

[St. George, Utah] – March 1, 2008 – MonaVie-Cannondale team member, Bart Gillespie, won the opening round of Utah's 2008 Intermountain Cup, the Red Rock Desert Rampage, held in St. George, Utah, on March 1.

Gillespie, the overall winner of the 2007 series and the seventh-place finisher at the 2007 USA Cycling national cross-country championships in Mount Snow, Vermont, dominated the men's race, beating second-place finisher Cale Redpath by nearly seven minutes.

American Red Cross Recognizes Dallin Larsen, MonaVie

[American Red Cross] – February 28, 2008 – In a letter addressed to MonaVie founder and president, Dallin Larsen, the American Red Cross expressed its appreciation for MonaVie's contributions to the relief effort during last fall's Southern California wildfires.

"As Southern California residents return to their homes and resume their daily lives, many have you to thank for sending them help and hope during the devastating wildfires," wrote Lauri Rhinehart, vice president of development operations for the American Red Cross. "MonaVie's compassionate support made it possible for the American Red Cross to respond immediately and effectively to the victims of this disaster."

In response to what was the largest disaster evacuation in California history, the Red Cross required 5,300 disaster workers to open 40 shelters, serve nearly 1.5 million meals and snacks, and staff 90 Emergency Response Vehicles.

At MonaVie's October 2007 Anaheim Regional Meeting, all donations to the MORE Project went directly to the Red Cross to aid those affected by the devastating wildfires in Southern California. Thanks to the generosity of its distributors, MonaVie was able to do its part to provide respite to the families affected by the catastrophe.

Team MonaVie/Cannondale Dominates 24 Hours of Moab Endurance Race

[Moab, UT] – October 13, 2007 – More than 1,000 cyclists pushed their legs, bikes, and minds to the limits as they rode through the night, seeking to be the team, or individual, completing the most laps and the most miles in the 24 Hours of Moab endurance race.

The MonaVie/Cannondale pro team finished in first place and was the only group to complete 20 laps on the 14.91 mile course that included 1,360 feet of vertical climbing on each lap with 7.85 miles of uphill pedaling. Another Utah-based, MonaVie/Cannondale-sponsored team (the "veteran" team) finished third overall with 19 laps. Finally, a third MonaVie racing team—the "Just for Fun" team—consisting of Corporate's own Dell Brown, David Racz, and Elena Hall, also put in an impressive performance.
