Stunning Maui, Hawaii, provided the setting for this year's Diamond Destination, as hundreds of Diamond Executives and above spent a week on the island paradise in the middle of the Hawaiian chain. From the moment they arrived at the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa, distributors settled into a serene retreat that granted them the most opulent luxuries the island has to offer in food, entertainment, and relaxation.

The guests gathered Sunday morning in the Molokini Gardens for a welcome breakfast befitting the grand occasion it was. Surrounded by towering palm trees and bordering the ocean and a saltwater lagoon, the Molokini Gardens represent just a fraction of the exquisiteness of Maui and its neighboring islands.

Throughout the week, distributors discovered Maui for themselves in a variety of ways. Breathtaking helicopter rides provided an intimate look at the West Maui Mountains as well as Haleakala, one of the world's largest dormant volcanic craters. Hundreds of beautiful waterfalls could also be seen from the skies of Maui.

On the ground, distributors drove the Road to Hana, a 42-mile trek along the largest rainforest in the United States. The journey was one for all the senses to enjoy, as adventurists witnessed spectacular seaside cliffs and breathed in the tropical aroma of the rainforests. Distributors also took to the waters to surf, snorkel, scuba dive, and kayak in the deep blue shores of the Pacific.

When not traversing the island and oceans, distributors basked in the extravagant amenities at the Grand Wailea Resort. Among the resort's magnificent offerings were a river pool that propelled swimmers on a ride down rapids and swift water, passing a swim-in cave with bubbling hot springs, a hidden sauna, and a water elevator to lift guests back up to the start. Guests also received world-class treatment at the resort's award-winning spa and honed their skills on the hotel's 18-hole golf courses and 14 tennis courts.

Before the trip ended, distributors were treated to an unforgettable Hawaiian luau, complete with a traditional Hawaiian feast, a showcase of songs and dances telling the tale of the first islanders' migration to the Hawaiian Islands, and a dazzling fire-knife dance.

MonaVie EMV and MonaVie Active with Collagen Launch in Brazil

The launch of MonaVie EMV and MonaVie Active with collagen in Brazil promises to revolutionize the nutritional beverage market in the South American country. Led by MonaVie Brazil General Manager Mauricio Patrocinio, MonaVie introduced the two new products at the MonaVie Super Meeting in Rio de Janeiro on September 5, 2009.

EMV Takes off in Brazil
First, MonaVie EMV officially launched at the Super Meeting. Nearly 700 distributors participated in the celebration of the new, premium energy drink in Brazil, as did Crowne Black Diamond Executives Brig and Lita Hart, Royal Black Diamond Executive Scott Olsen, and Black Diamond Executive Devon Robinson.

Since the launch, our Brazil office has been flooded with stories about distributors all over Brazil who are successfully promoting MonaVie EMV at tasting parties and through one-on-one contacting.

Distributors also got to taste the new MonaVie Active with collagen product at the Super Meeting. The product is now officially available for purchase at the Brazil office in São Paulo and through the Virtual Office.

In addition to 19 fruits such as acai, cupuacu, acerola, pomegranate, and camu camu, MonaVie Active in Brazil has the added ingredient of collagen hydrolysate, and is rich in the antioxidant vitamin C. After Indy Japan 300, Scheckter Prepares for IndyCar Series Championship

Driving the No. 23 MonaVie EMV car, Tomas Scheckter finished in 23rd place at the Indy Japan 300. In standard Scheckter form, Tomas jumped two positions in the early going to grab the eight spot after the first lap. He would continue on pace until pulling in for an unscheduled pit stop on lap 88. His crew discovered an internal problem with the car's gearbox, which prematurely ended his day.

"We were running solidly in the top eight, having a good race," Scheckter said. "It's very unfortunate, but that's racing and these things happen. I just have to thank the guys for giving me a good car and everyone with MonaVie Japan for coming out and supporting me. I'm really looking forward to getting this MonaVie car in the top five in Miami."

Through strategic planning, MonaVie's Executive Team is expecting unprecedented international growth in the coming years, and we are thrilled to move forward with some new market openings. Our goal for continued expansion falls right in line with our primary goal to improve lives around the world through the MonaVie opportunity.

MonaVie Europe: Preparing to Launch U.K. and Poland

We are thrilled to launch the MonaVie opportunity in Europe much earlier than planned with the official opening of the United Kingdom and Poland next week!

At the time of launch, you will be able to order and receive product shipments and receive weekly commission payments.

This welcome announcement is in response to your tremendous enthusiasm, our growing distributor force in these two markets, and our ability to accommodate both the early registration of our products and the establishment of fundamental business requirements in both markets.

Localized Features Coming Soon
In our effort to move up the launch of these two markets, some services that would typically accompany an official opening are still in development (i.e. certain payment types/currencies; market specific sales brochures, videos, and websites).

Initially, you will be able to purchase products and earn commissions in British Pounds in the United Kingdom and in Euros in Poland. In both markets, you will be able to pay for products with a Visa or MasterCard.

John Doughty Named Managing Director of MonaVie Europe

Doug Allen, VP of International Development

As vice president of international development, Doug is responsible for the successful launch of MonaVie Israel and the expansion of MonaVie into other international markets.

Prior to joining MonaVie, Doug managed the development of another competitive beverage company throughout the Asia Pacific region. He also boasts a decade's worth of experience in overseeing the Southeast Asia region of a billion dollar skin care company. For two of those years, he served as an assistant general manager in the company's Bangkok office. As a complement to his international expertise, Doug has also earned an executive MBA in global management.

Earlier in his career, Doug spent two years in Osaka, Japan, managing the import/export and training activities for a Japanese company. Doug's cumulative international and industry experience makes him a welcome addition to the MonaVie family.
