MonaVie’s Tomas Scheckter Leads the Pack at 2010 Indianapolis 500

A little more than midway through the 94th annual Indianapolis 500 on Saturday, May 30, Tomas Scheckter maneuvered into first place. Driving the No. 23 MonaVie EMV car, the world watched live as Tomas held onto the lead for five laps, an impressive ascension considering the South African was in the 20 spot when the green flag dropped.

Accelerating from 20th to 14th place in the race’s first lap, Tomas looked to be in top form handling the MonaVie EMV machine. He capitalized on his initial success throughout the race, finally surpassing the competition for laps 109 through 113. Unfortunately, bad luck and radio trouble stood in the way of Scheckter’s first Indy 500 victory. Tomas brought the car back in one piece for a 15th-place finish—his fourth-best career finish at the Indy 500.

"I had a great car today," Scheckter said after the final lap. "It was a good, solid run. We were a very solid team today, and I think that showed."

Indy 500 Race Fan’s Dream Giveaway Winners

MonaVie congratulates the winners of the Indy 500 Race Fan’s Dream Giveaway, the top 10 distributors who had the most personally sponsored distributors in the U.S. and Canada sign up for 2-case AutoShips between April 19 and May 21, 2010. William Yokley Takes Second at Mountain Ridge GNCC UTV Race

MonaVie racer William Yokley won second place at the Mountain Ridge GNCC UTV Race in Somerset, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 22. A heavy, driving rain set in on the course's rugged, rocky terrain just as the race began making the rocks and hills even more treacherous to negotiate. Staying in the top three for most of the race, Yokley's machine bounced into a tree after making impact with a large, wet rock at the midpoint of the race. Although this resulted in a bent front wheel and some damage to the brakes and steering system, he was able to finish the event second overall. The win moves Yokley into the top spot in points on the GNCC UTV season leader board.

Send in Your Retail Sales Receipts, Earn Cash Bonuses!

To claim your Top Retailers Bonus earnings, simply:

1. Fill out the Sales Receipt form found in the Document Library of the Virtual Office (under "U.S.-Specific Documents").

2. Fill out the Retail Sales Tracking form. To do this:
a. Access your Virtual Office.
b. Click on Member Info in the left-hand navigation.
c. Click on Retail Sales Tracking (underneath "Ordering").
d. Complete the Retail Sales Tracking form.

3. Attach your completed Sales Receipt form to your completed Retail Sales Tracking form, and submit.
