MonaVie Names New Chief Operating and Financial Officers
MonaVie is pleased to announce the appointment of Walter Noot as Chief Operating Officer and James Marsh as Chief Financial Officer. Both are located at MonaVie corporate headquarters in South Jordan, Utah.
Chief Financial Officer James Marsh has been with MonaVie since 2006, holding various positions in the finance department, and most recently serving as senior vice president of finance. As one of the first employees in finance at MonaVie, James has been instrumental in building the accounting, tax, and treasury functions, while managing the growth of an Inc. 500 company. James began his career at accounting firm KPMG LLP, where he performed audit, review, and Sarbanes-Oxley engagements for a variety of companies, both publicly and privately held. He also serves on the investment advisory committee of the Ritchie Opportunity Fund and on the boards of Juneau Biosciences and The Never Better Foundation. James received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Science and Master of Accounting degrees from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Utah.
With a strong business and technology background, Chief Operating Officer Walter Noot joined MonaVie at the right time. As MonaVie launches new technologies, Walter’s vast experience owning and operating a variety of software and tech companies will help guide those advances. Walter has the entrepreneurial mindset necessary for today’s fast-paced business environment, an attribute he honed while working with and consulting for numerous small businesses. Having previously run a company that provides online infrastructure software to direct sales companies, Walter also has extensive industry experience and is a strong distributor advocate. Throughout his career, Walter has guided several companies to incredible growth, which provided him the experience and skills required to run MonaVie’s expanding operations. Walter earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University.
