Selfie First Pitch Video Promotion: It’s Your Chance to Out Do a Celebrity

60 feet, 6 inches. That’s how far it is from the pitcher’s mound to home plate in professional baseball.

That’s not too far, right? Well, it turns out that the ceremonial first pitch—with friends and strangers looking on and iPhone cameras rolling—is a pretty pressure-packed situation and several big-name celebrities have crumbled beneath the spotlight. We’re talking celebrities that talk tough (see 50 Cent), are considered superb athletes (uh, is this really Carl Lewis?), and are in their prime (Carly Rae Jepsen).

We’re pretty sure your fastball doesn’t look anything like these celebrities’ dirt hoppers. But, there’s only one way to find out and that’s to submit a 30-second selfie video by August 15 for a chance to represent MonaVie on the pitcher’s mound as part of the It’s Game Time! Conference in Indianapolis, August 22–23.

During the conference, we’re taking distributors out to the ballpark to watch the Indianapolis Indians—a Triple A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates—take on the Toledo Mud Hens. A spectacular firework show will follow the game, but one lucky person will get to throw out the first pitch prior to the game! Check out how you can win this chance of a lifetime!
