MonaVie EMV Lite Launches in the U.S. and Canada
On Monday, May 3, via webcast, MonaVie launched its latest great tasting and healthy product in the U.S. and Canada—MonaVie EMV Lite!

"You asked for it; we delivered!" Founder, Chairman, and CEO Dallin A. Larsen exclaimed.

Senior Vice President Jeff Graham elaborated on that when he mentioned the innumerable amount of distributors who started approaching him several months ago saying that they love MonaVie EMV but want a version with fewer calories.

"We got into the laboratories and started working," Jeff said. "We reduced the calories and kept everything else the same. You, our distributors and most valued asset, asked for it; and, we listened. This is your product; you own it!"

Vice President of Marketing Wayne Moorehead announced the availability of several MonaVie EMV Lite promotional videos as well as other MonaVie-related media on the MonaVie Media Center and MonaVie TV.

Dallin closed the webcast encouraging distributors to continue putting forth great efforts to build their MonaVie businesses with new MonaVie EMV Lite, while praising the job Jeff and Wayne have done at the corporate level to ensure a successful product launch. "I couldn't be more pleased with the job that Wayne and his team is doing, making sure that we create a product we can be proud of from a branding standpoint," Dallin said. Açai Palm Fruit Improves Survival of Flies on High Fat Diet

The results of a recent study conducted by researchers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Aging suggest that açai may assist in alleviating some of the detrimental effects caused by a high fat diet and oxidative stress. Female flies that were fed a high fat diet and açai had a significantly increased lifespan compared to those just fed a high fat diet. The lifespan of female flies subjected to oxidative stress and fed açai was increased compared to oxidative-stressed flies that were not fed açai. Reducing oxidative stress has been shown to extend lifespan and has been suggested as one of the factors affecting aging. The antioxidant properties of açai appear to aide in the survival of oxidative-stressed flies. More importantly, the açai used in this study was supplied by MonaVie.

2010 Black Diamond Celebration Recap

Housed in the unique comfort of Tahitian cabanas hovering over the Pacific, Black Diamond Executives and above spent a relaxing, yet adventurous week traveling the island of Tahiti and enjoying the first-rate activities and amenities of the Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, including snorkeling among stingrays and sharks, jet skiing along the gleaming ocean waters, and enjoying the various seafaring tours offered by the resort.

On 50-foot-long catamarans, distributors sailed through the tropical paradise taking in the warm sunset, then stargazed from a rooftop sundeck. Smaller 2–4 person boats called "barracudas" allowed them to explore the remote motus and beaches that dot the towering islands of Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia. Kayaking, paddle boarding, and deep-sea fishing provided additional pursuits for guests to spend their leisure time.

In the nearby town of Vaitape, distributors enjoyed the local attractions and ate at the famous Bloody Mary's Restaurant. Vaitape is also where tourists go to shop for indigenous black pearls found in the secluded lagoons around the island.
