Cruise for Gold Qualifier—Reggie Cook

Congratulations to Reggie Cook from Estill Springs, Tennessee, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip. Here's what he had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

"Qualifying for the Gold Cruise is a stepping-stone to bigger things to come."

"My MonaVie journey began in March 2006 when I was introduced to the product by Brenda Prudhomme at a gas station. I started drinking the juice strictly for my health. When I learned of the business opportunity, I began to share it with others and my business started to grow. I am so excited for the new enthusiasm and excitement we have as a team, and the growth we are experiencing every week!

"This road has not always been easy. I have learned a lot of lessons along the way. I now begin my days asking the Lord for direction. That has made the biggest difference in my personal life, as well as in my business.

"Some of the things I am doing on a daily basis are keeping in contact with my upline, Brenda Prudhomme, and making contact with all active distributors who are wanting more than what they currently have. I am there to help anyone who is willing to get out of his or her comfort zone and do something different. Brenda has always told me to constantly be looking for people who are looking and move on from the ones who are not ready. It is all about timing.

"My advice to others would be to be teachable, be a good listener, and always be positive to your organization. Negativity can destroy a whole group. Help them get what they want, and you will succeed too.

"Don't ever be afraid to share this amazing product with others; you just may impact someone's life in ways you could never imagine. Brenda changed my life for the better when she shared a bottle with me. The constant encouragement, support, and belief in me from her have made me what I am in MonaVie today.

"I am looking forward to spending time with the incredible leaders from corporate as well as other successful MonaVie distributors. My name is Reggie Cook, and I am MonaVie!"

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Ronald and Angela Hoff

Congratulations to Ronald and Angela Hoff from Nampa, Idaho, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip. Here's what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise . . .

"We are so very excited to have qualified for the Cruise! We've set some high goals that we want to achieve, and it may surprise some people to learn that these goals are about our distributors and not us. We dream of having our friends, who have decided to partner with us, make the rank of Diamond. We believe in network marketing and the MonaVie products. We also believe that with God all things are possible. Just knowing about MonaVie is a blessing that we want to share with others.

"If you want to be successful in MonaVie, you must plug yourself into a duplicable system. You must be persistent and flexible, and love to party! We have weekly strategy sessions where we set aside time to plan and brainstorm on who needs help where. We like to take that time to communicate with our leaders about how we can help our newest team members go Star, Star 500, and Star 1000. We plan Tasting Parties and post them to our team schedule. Posting our schedule is important so that the newest distributors can plan their week.

"We also have great success in meeting one on one with our newest distributors' contacts. We are working with a group of 10 distributors and helping them reach Gold by December 23. We are looking forward to spending time with MonaVie Corporate, lying by the pool, and making life-long friendships."

A More Meaningful Life: Scott Rilett Is Unlearning Bad Habits from His Past to Change His Future

Once approaching 400 pounds, Star 1,000 Scott Rilett from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, is now close to weighing less than 200 pounds with the help of MonaVie RVL. Like many obese people, Scott's battle with weight started when he was a child.

"Being raised in a household where our main food staples were read meat, large portions of potatoes, and very small portions of basic vegetables like corn, carrots, and peas (all of which were smothered in butter), it was hard to learn how and what to eat," Scott says. "Not knowing any better, I continued to eat like this into my teens and early 20s."

Another factor that contributed to Scott's weight gain was his lack of physical activity. A shy kid, Scott mostly kept to myself and preferred to spend his time reading, writing, or playing video games. He admits that he rarely went outside to play with friends or ride bikes, and he wasn't into sports.

"As an overweight child, obviously you can see how I could be made fun of," Scott says. "After all, other children can be cruel. Not wanting to do things because I was overweight coupled with the jokes and tormenting from other kids, my weight continued to build. It became a never-ending cycle until it was out of control."

As he got older, Scott started to become more aware of his potentially deadly situation. His final wakeup call came when his father developed diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and had double bypass heart surgery—all due to issues with weight.

"I knew I needed to change my lifestyle or else I was going to end up just like him," Scott says.

Scott's first foray into weight loss was fad diets. He tried every diet out there—no carbs, all carbs, no protein, all protein. Whatever it was he tried, he could never seem to get any results. Then, he was introduced to MonaVie RVL.

"A longtime friend told me about MonaVie RVL," Scott remembers. "Having tried everything else out there, I was a bit skeptical. But, with a little (ok, more like a lot!) of persuasion, I decided to try it."

From the start, Scott was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use of MonaVie RVL. With previous programs, Scott would run out of steam after the program became too cumbersome. He found this to be the opposite case with MonaVie RVL.

"MonaVie RVL is one of the easiest products out there," Scott says. "A simple shake, a bar, and a supplement twice a day, and no huge prep work is necessary. I needed something easy and simple because I lose ambition if something becomes a chore. I also needed a product that was conducive to my 12-hour work shift but still packed a lot of punch. I found it with MonaVie RVL!"

Since he began his RVL program in March, Scott has lost 130 pounds. At his heaviest, he was close to 355 pounds. Now, he is down to 225. Along with the pounds, he's cut 14 inches from his waist and says he's gained tons of energy to be more active.

"My results speak for themselves, and it makes me happy and excited and pushes me to keep at it," he says. "The hardest part was having to give up 20 years of bad eating habits: breads, pop, and junk food, all of which I loved. But when I see RVL working, it just makes me want to keep going."

Not only has MonaVie helped Scott get his weight back under control, he says it's helping him to lead a more meaningful life because he can now do things he was never able to do before like play with his two nephews without feeling tired or winded. With his new body, he's also enjoying the little things that most people take for granted.

"I flew to Vancouver the other day," Scott says, "and something as simple as being able to fit into an airplane seat is nice. It's things like this that when I look back to how I used to be, it makes me happy that I've changed my life in such a dramatic way. Without MonaVie and the opportunities it has given me, I would still be stuck in the same bad rut I was in."

Scott's goal now is to spread the word about this life-changing opportunity and to help people with the same problems he's had.

"I want to show people that there is a product and a group of people out there that can help, will help, and do care about them," he says. "I've now learned how to eat properly. I have a personal trainer, and I'm becoming more active in sports. I'm unlearning everything from my past so I can change my future. My name is Scott Rilett, and I am MonaVie!"

Cruise for Gold Qualifiers—Scott and Kathy Kinney

Congratulations to Scott and Kathy Kinney from Ukiah, California, on qualifying for the Cruise for Gold trip. Here's what they had to say about qualifying for the cruise…

"Going on this cruise is special for us because we never had a honeymoon! We look forward to meeting the corporate team and the guest speakers and those that have paved the way for us. We plan on bringing as many of our team as possible because without them we would not have been able to reach this goal.

"We have had an amazing journey over the past nine months, culminating in achieving the rank of Gold Executive. Scott has had the MonaVie opportunity presented to him many times over the past four years, including by our current upline Blue Diamonds Jimmy and Catherine Reese and Golds Derek and Tammy Scott. He had even been approached three years ago while attending animal chiropractic school in Kansas. An instructor gave Scott a bottle, which made it back to California and sat on our kitchen counter for over a year unopened until one day it was knocked over and broken. We are prime examples that 'no' doesn't mean 'not ever;' it just means 'not now.' And, never give someone an unopened bottle of juice without drinking it with them!

"The MonaVie opportunity presented itself again in December 2010 when Kathy ran into Derek Scott at the grocery store. I had noticed he had lost weight and asked him about it. He told me that it was a new product from MonaVie called MonaVie RVL. Now, I was interested! I spoke with Derek in that parking lot on a rainy Sunday night for 20 minutes. He explained that he and Tammy had just come back from Utah and that they were going to be ambassadors for the product. I did my research for a couple of weeks trying to find something bad about the company and couldn't find a thing!

"On Christmas Eve, Derek and Tammy blessed us with a bottle of MonaVie Active. A few days later, I was at a tasting party and was interested in becoming a distributor; but, Scott wasn't on board yet. That night, Scott listened to a few CDs, including Brig Hart—New Distributor Orientation. He listened to the CDs several times over the weekend and got fired up! We officially became distributors on December 31, 2010, on a three-case AutoShip. Scott decided to integrate MonaVie into his chiropractic practice, and he still does today.

"We achieved the rank of Silver in three and a half months but failed miserably at getting guests to tasting parties; however, we had good success with one-on-ones. We were stagnant at Silver for two months, but Scott continued to sow seeds. At the end of July, Scott decided to get really serious about the business. Kathy started to work with a life coach, Lance Yeley, who is a pastor and a MonaVie distributor. She started having some major breakthroughs, and our business began to take off. We had people contacting us saying they wanted in—people we had talked to 4–6 months earlier! I think they had been watching and waiting to see if we were serious.

"We saw our team grow by 20 people in the five weeks leading up to the Cruise for Gold qualification. As exciting as it was to achieve Gold, we had been blessed earlier that week when two couples we enrolled in August each told us how grateful they were to us for introducing them to the company. The juice has helped them tremendously, and they were so excited about their results. That is why we do what we do; getting paid for it is just a bonus.

"The part that impressed us the most about MonaVie, other than the product, is the support that we have received from our leaders and fellow distributors. That is a huge point we emphasize with our prospects. Mick and Vick Karshner, Jimmy and Catherine Reese, and Derek and Tammy Scott have always been there for us. We are now teaching the same thing to our new distributors that they taught us: keep it simple; grow your business two by two; focus on Star and Star Maker. Reaching Gold is a bi-product of the work we do and the people we help. We have definitely been blessed by MonaVie and our awesome support team. We follow the system our leaders have set up, remain teachable, and keep it simple.

"Thank you, MonaVie, for all you have done. You are an amazing company with awesome products. Thank you to our leaders for never giving up on us, and to our team for all of your hard work and for believing in us. We have definitely been blessed, and we hope to continue to bless many others in the years to come. We are Scott and Kathy Kinney, and we are MonaVie!"
