Congratulations to Phil and Michele Caronna from West Springfield, Massachusetts, on achieving the rank of Gold Executive. Here's what they had to say on reaching this impressive milestone…
"We thank God that our friend called us. The funny thing is, I said, 'No, I am not interested in your product. I helped you out in the last thing you did. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you.' Two weeks later we received a call to come to a tasting party. That was the start of our road to Gold.
"Our sponsors live 1,500 miles away, and they were flying up to share MonaVie with their friends and family. Because friends do what friends do, I went to the tasting. On my way out the door, Phil said, 'I am going with you so you don't buy anything.' At the tasting, it all made sense and Phil was the one to fill out the enrollment form. We met our upline Gold Joel Novoa and heard about how the product was helping his mom's health and the money he was making. The support we have received from Joel and Ginny Novoa has been incredible. They are great people and have become great friends.
"We plugged into a system and stayed in constant contact with our active upline. It is possible for anyone young or old to get good at pointing to CD's, good books, webcasts, and conference calls and succeed at sharing the MonaVie opportunity. One thing we learned really quickly was just how much growing we had to do. Our upline Susie Puyol has always said, 'MonaVie is a personal development system with a compensation plan attached.' This is so true! We also learned the value of plugging into all events.
"We knew right away we didn't want to continue paying for the product. We had a tasting seven days after getting started in MonaVie. We have been on AutoShip from the first month and haven't ever paid for the juice again. Within the first year, I was laid off after 19 years as a truck driver. It was the only thing I had done since getting out of school. Fortunately, MonaVie provided us the opportunity for me to become a stay-at-home mom.
"We have made lifelong friends with many people on our team. We also realized just how refreshing it can be hanging out with likeminded people. We just love to help people and are very attracted to positive, upbeat, giving, and caring people who want to lift each other up. Each person on our team has brought something different into our lives and helped to form who we are today. There have been challenges, struggles, accomplishments, and tears of joy shared with many. With the stellar lineup of Dallin, Brig, the Merritts, the Puyols, and the Novoas, we can't lose. Thanks to Terri, Susie B. Moja, and the Hoods who see the same vision as us, we will vacation around the world together.
"We know our friends, family, and coworkers. We know their strengths and what is important to them. We need to be talking to them about getting the things they want in life. If I could rewind, I would have many heart-to-heart talks with people closest to us about getting money as an issue out of the way. Les Brown says, 'You have to do the things today others won't do in order to have the things tomorrow that others won't have.' Don't be afraid to approach the people closest to you with the help of your active upline. First impressions last, and the opinions that your family and friends will form of MonaVie is all up to you. They are watching you. Each one of us is the face of MonaVie to those who know us.
"Knowing what you have, going after it, and not letting the naysayers deter you is so critically important. It took four beliefs for us to succeed: 1.) Belief that God brought this opportunity. 2.) Belief in the product. 3.) Belief in the company. 4.) And, most importantly, belief in ourselves that we could do this! If you have never done something like this before, listen to the CD's of other successful men and woman. Turn off the news, and fill your mind with good stuff. This will give you the edge over the regular-thinking people.
"We drink the juice as a family, and we build the business as a family. Our children have their own dream boards. When we hit a new pin, they are rewarded for their support. We want to show them that working for goals and dreams is so worthwhile. We are also teaching them about 'roots and wings, not loot and things.'
"Here in MonaVie, we build each other up. Out there in the work place, everyone tears each other apart. We know where we would rather spend our time, sowing seeds into others!"
