Scheckter Leads the Pack for Six Laps in Toronto
On lap 35 of the Honda Toronto Grand Prix, Sunday, July 12, MonaVie IndyCar driver Tomas Scheckter took the lead with 50 laps remaining.
Scheckter had been racing a sharp, calculated race, leaving several drivers in his rearview mirror with each passing lap. He continued to keep his competition at bay for six laps before turning in for a quick pit stop.
He was well on his way to reclaiming his lead when another driver rear-ended him and sent him crashing into the fence. Although the incident prematurely ended Scheckter's day, the MonaVie driver showed what a promising future he has behind the wheel of the MonaVie EMV car.
