Compliance Corner—Sales Tools

MonaVie would like to provide a brief refresher course on our sales tools policies as they appear in our Statement of Policies and Procedures.

As you brush up on the following guidelines, please remember that all of the sales tools mentioned below must first be approved by the Compliance department:

  • In international markets, Diamond Executives and above distributors may create websites. (For more information, please refer to Addendum A in your market's Statement of Policies and Procedures.)
  • In all markets, Black Diamond Executives and above distributors may create replicated websites and sales tools.

When creating your own approved sales tools, you may not modify any corporate-produced sales tools. Corporate-produced sales tools may not be altered from their original forms.

In addition, all of MonaVie's literature, audiotapes, videotapes, Internet website material, and programs are copyrighted and may be duplicated only by obtaining prior written consent. To learn more, please refer to the sections on Copyrighted Materials and Proprietary Names of the Statement of Policies and Procedures.

I Just Had to Tell Someone!

The usual Friday routine for MonaVie Gold Executive David Williamson produced some not-so-usual results on March 20, 2009—perhaps, a first-ever for MonaVie. Here's what happened, according to David:

"Every Friday, I fly home from Dallas. I'm always branded with the MonaVie logo, and this particular day was no exception. As I boarded the plane, a flight attendant noticed my logo and said to me, 'That's good stuff.' I asked her if she had ever tried a gel pack and handed her one.

"The man next to me, Dan, asked, 'What is MonaVie?' Well, you know what happened next. As Dan and I talked, we were told that our airplane was one of four airplanes testing in-flight Wi-Fi. Then, it hit me! I turned to Dan and asked, 'How would you like to be the first MonaVie distributor to sign up at 29,000 feet?' He logged in and signed up, and I just had to tell someone!"

2009 Diamond Destination Qualification Period Extended

MonaVie is pleased to announce that you now have an extra month to qualify for Diamond Destination!

The qualification period for Diamond Destination 2009 has been extended to May 29, 2009.

This year, Diamond Destination will be at the luxurious, five-star Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa in Maui, Hawaii, September 11-16, 2009. There, distributors will train, network, enjoy the beaches, and explore the island's natural beauty.

MonaVie Shares Key Economic Insights with Utah Business Magazine

[Utah Business Magazine] - March 2009 - MonaVie's Chief Operations Officer, Dell Brown, shares key insights about the direct selling industry and the economy in this recent edition of Utah Business Magazine. Brown says that direct sales provides a way for people to take control of their financial future, and Utah Business notes that 2009 looks quite optimistic for MonaVie. The magazine also reports that Maria Fiorini Ramirez, who was named the top inflation forecaster from 2001-2004 by The Wall Street Journal, says MonaVie is perfectly positioned for growth.

MonaVie Israel Opens for Business

MonaVie's newest full-business opportunity has taken off in Israel!

On March 17, 2009, MonaVie Israel launched with our convenient, pocket-sized MonaVie Gel, along with a set of well-designed Hebrew sales tools. In the near future, the new MonaVie Kosher juice will arrive in Israel for purchase. A similar kosher-certified juice product for the United States will also become available sometime after May 1.

MonaVie Israel also offers Israeli distributors with commissions and pricing in local currency, the New Israeli Shekels (ILS).

We are thrilled with MonaVie's momentum and continued expansion during these troubled economic times. Israel is the second market MonaVie has launched this year (Japan opened in January) with a handful of other planned openings on the horizon. With our international expansion, distributors have a chance to grow their business proportionately.

Compensation Plan Updates—Star Maker Bonus and Black Diamond Advancements

We are pleased to announce two new enhancements to the Compensation Plan that will be implemented as part of the MonaVie Stimulus Package. This is in addition to the recently updated First Order Bonus criteria.

The following changes are in effect beginning with the commission period ending Friday, March 6, 2009.

STAR MAKER BONUS
We are extending the Star Maker Bonus to qualified* distributors active with at least 100 PV.

This means there are now two ways you can enjoy the Star Maker Bonus:

  • If you are a qualified distributor active with at least 200 PV, you will earn a $40 Star Maker Bonus each time one of your personally sponsored distributors reaches the rank of Star.
  • If you are a qualified distributor active with at least 100 PV, you will earn a $20 Star Maker Bonus each time one of your personally sponsored distributors reaches the rank of Star.

ADVANCING TO BLACK DIAMOND EXECUTIVE AND ABOVE
Also in the spirit of the MonaVie Stimulus Package, we are rolling back the requirements to achieving any of the Executive Premier ranks (Black Diamond Executive and above). In other words, distributors must now meet each rank's specified requirements for only four consecutive weeks.
