MonaVie Celebrates Grand Opening in Japan

MonaVie will commemorate its launch in Japan with the biggest grand opening ceremony in company history on Saturday, February 21, 2009!

"There's no doubt in my mind that MonaVie will take Japan by storm like no other company has before," says Tadamasu Shimizu, general manager of MonaVie Japan. "Together, we will develop MonaVie into a company that serves as a beacon to this amazing industry."

Diamond Executives and international distributors are hailing the formal grand opening of Japan as the biggest event since MonaVie launched in 2005. With more than 5,000 distributors and guests expected, the epic ceremony will occur Saturday, February 21, in Yokohama City, Japan.

In addition to its historical significance, Scott Olsen, Black Diamond Executive, said the event will become one of the company's proudest moments. Given Japan's vibrant economy, MonaVie looks to achieve more success and build a solid footing in the country one person at a time.
"People all over the world are looking for an opportunity to fulfill their dreams, and MonaVie opening in Japan is that opportunity," Scott added.

Corporate Leaders
As is custom, Dallin Larsen, founder and president of MonaVie, will personally welcome distributors and guests at the occasion. The festivities will also include several other prominent MonaVie leaders:

  • Henry Marsh, executive vice president and cofounder
  • Randy Larsen, executive vice president and cofounder
  • Varlin Law, vice president of international sales
  • Doug Allen, vice president of international development
  • Tadamasa Shimizu, Japan general manager
  • Jeff Graham, vice president of product management

MonaVie's on-the-ground presence in the world's second largest market officially commenced January 19, 2009. Since that time distributors in Japan have enjoyed many benefits, including a brand new office in Tokyo, local pricing, and domestic distribution with discounted shipping costs.

"Expanding our international presence into Japan has created tremendous excitement. Launching our full MonaVie business model in Japan has been an important part of the company's vision for a long time. This will be the biggest opening in MonaVie's history, and we are expecting a sellout crowd at the grand ceremony to celebrate it."
Doug Allen, vice president of international development

"I have hoped and planned, dreamed and schemed, worked and prayed for this monumental event in MonaVie's history. It is so exciting to see the efforts of a dedicated and talented international team coming to fruition. I want to thank all the wonderful distributor leaders who have displayed great vision and belief in our mission to change the world for the better, one person at a time."
Varlin Law, vice president of international sales

"In our business careers, there are few opportunities that we can look to as turning points. In North America, MonaVie has shattered the record books related to growth in our industry and has redefined how companies operate by setting a new standard. Japan is the jewel of the Pacific and the most dominating international market in our industry."
Darrell Utterbach, Royal Black Diamond distributor

"The Japan Grand Opening ceremony is going to be spectacular. MonaVie is making great waves in Japan, and the time is right to ride these waves on our surfboards of 'hope and faith.' We hope you will join the MonaVie family at this marvelous event."
Tadamasa Shimizu, Japan general manager
