As the USA men's gymnastics team captain, he led his teammates to this country's first ever team gold medal with a stunning upset victory over the defending world champions from the People's Republic of China. He then went on to capture the gold medal on the pommel horse with a perfect score of 10.

Peter has since served on the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, the Executive Board of the United States Olympic Committee, and the Executive Committee of USA Gymnastics. More importantly, he is a founding member of MonaVie's Athlete Advisory Board and, as such, has been with MonaVie since its inception in 2005.

We'll see you in Anaheim!

MonaVie's Newest Blue Diamonds—Robert and Dawn Lemus

Congratulations to Robert and Dawn Lemus from Jacksonville, Florida, on achieving the rank of Blue Diamond Executive. Here's what they had to say on reaching this impressive milestone...

"In November 2006, Scott and Shana Falany gave me and my wife our first bottle of MonaVie. We drank it, felt it, and enjoyed it; but, we didn't intend to share it. The Falanys tried several times to get us to a tasting party, but we were very busy trying to save our struggling traditional business.

"Finally, Scott asked, 'If I paid you a million dollars to jump out of an airplane without a parachute, would you do it?' I told him I wouldn't. Scott said, 'Robert, the plane is sitting on the ground. Do you always make decisions without knowing all the facts?' That simple question opened my mind. After attending one tasting party, I decided to pursue the opportunity.

"However, I was the only person in the family onboard. Dawn and our children were not so sure of dad's new plan for our financial future. I knew I had to make it work to get the family's approval. At the Ruby Fly-In, Dawn became enamored with every aspect of MonaVie. With the family's blessing, we proceeded together in building our business. Our backs were against the wall because the changing economy hurt our traditional business early on. We set our intention, put emotion behind it, and fueled it with activity.

"In traditional business, people work to close the deal; in MonaVie, we open minds to the concept of prospering as teams. People are looking for a vehicle to help them survive the current economic conditions. We owe it to the world to share this message of health and wealth. Ask yourself these questions: If not me, who? If not now, when? If not MonaVie, what?

"We thank Dallin Larsen, Henry Marsh, and the entire MonaVie corporate team for making this opportunity available to us. MonaVie's corporate team serves its distributor base with excellence at every level. We also thank the team members of all the great support systems available to MonaVie. We are so proud of each and every one of our team of leaders who we are so privileged to be in business with. Most importantly, we give all the glory to God for giving us the health and fortitude to bring hope to those who are willing to open their eyes to the greatest company, product, and opportunity for the world!"

MonaVie Research Published in No. 1 Ranked Journal

The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry was recently named the No. 1 ranked journal in total citations in applied chemistry and food science technology, according to a report by Thomson Reuters.

MonaVie is pleased to report that in the year 2008 alone, one study on MonaVie Active and at least three other studies on the acai berry were published in this peer-reviewed, scientific journal.

The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry is the No. 1 journal in total citations (45,286) and articles published (1,530), out of 35 journals in the Agriculture, Multidisciplinary category. "When we first introduced MonaVie, we promised to lead the industry in acai-based research," says MonaVie Founder and President Dallin Larsen. We will continue to lead acai-based research, and pledge our dedication to further industry understanding of this remarkable fruit."
