MonaVie Corporate Employees Honored with the Patriot Award

Congratulations to MonaVie Vice President of IT Rob Ferguson and Director of Compliance Elena Hall, who were both honored by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) with the Patriot Award for their support of the Guardsmen and Reservists at MonaVie.

Rob and Elena received the award because of their efforts in supporting the demands placed on our Guardsmen and Reservists, who comprise a key component in keeping our national defense entities ready to do their jobs. The ESGR representatives who presented the awards stated that MonaVie exemplifies a company that goes above and beyond to truly foster a culture of support for our Guardsmen and Reservists.

February 2010 Ruby Fly-In Recap

The theme of Thursday's training meeting at the Ruby Fly-In was leadership. The wealth of knowledge on the subject was abundant as several members of the MonaVie corporate team were in attendance to impart their expertise to MonaVie's next generation of leaders.

Black Diamond Executives Encourage and Instruct
Royal Black Diamond Executives Scott and Sue Olsen were the first to address the gathered Rubies. Scott, one of MonaVie's very first distributors, expressed the value of turning vision into action.

"When we started MonaVie five years ago, it was just a vision," he said. "But, a vision isn't enough. You have to become the vision."

Scott and his family nearly went bankrupt in their early days as distributors, and he says this experience taught him the key to facing adversity as you grow your MonaVie business. The trick is to become "a prisoner of hope."

"A prisoner is chained to something," Scott said. "For me and Sue, we got chained to MonaVie. Make the decision today to make MonaVie your home, and I promise you that your life will change forever and so will the lives of hundreds of thousands."

To Be a Great Leader, Be a Great Follower
International Distributor Ambassador Randy Schroeder sustained Joe's message when he likened the distributors' current status as Rubies to being boats in a rising tide. A rising tide, Randy said, only lifts boats that are fully in the water. MonaVie's tide will surely continue to rise, but if the assembled distributors wish to rise along with it, they must continue to advance in ranks by creating leaders within their organizations; however, Randy added that it's easier to build volume than it is to build the leadership needed to support the volume.

That is why he stressed the value of becoming great leaders themselves by learning to become great followers. To do this, Randy issued a challenge to distributors to identify a leader in MonaVie that they would like to emulate, and then follow as closely as possible what that leader has done to attain his or her position.

"I invite you to hold yourself to a very high standard," Randy said.

MonaVie's Pillars of Health
One of MonaVie's most valuable leaders who holds himself and his team to the highest of standards is Vice President of Product Management Jeff Graham, who was at the Ruby Fly-In to talk about MonaVie's growing family of products, including newly released MonaVie (M)m?n.

Depicting the MonaVie products as pillars of joint health, heart health, and healthy energy supported by a solid foundation of antioxidants, Jeff characterized MonaVie (M)m?n as a new pillar of immune health. All of these products together serve to provide consumers with an array of nutrients that has never previously been found in typical American diets.

"The average American only eats three edible plant foods per day out of more than 200,000 available," he said. "And, the typical American diet includes only 20 different foods. By sharing MonaVie, you are helping to bridge the nutritional gap."

Social Media, Preferred Customer Program, Top Retailers Bonus
Chief Blogger Shante Schroeder and Chief Financial Officer Devin Thorpe complemented the day's speakers by arming distributors with information that will help them break through to the next rank on their way to Black Diamond and beyond.

Shante explained that social media outlets including Facebook and Twitter are amazing ways to tap into a seemingly endless customer base online. By being apart of the MonaVie conversation online, you can build meaningful relationships with literally thousands of people at a time. Obviously, social media will never replace the essential personal connection that tasting parties and face-to-face interaction provide; rather, social media is a way to supplement these activities and make additional contacts.

"I encourage you to participate in this community and help build it," Shante said.

Devin Thorpe's presentation helped distributors to understand the value of preferred customers as they strive to advance in rank. It's for this reason that MonaVie has introduced the Preferred Customer Program and the Top Retailers Bonus into the Compensation Plan. Please click on the links provided for more information.

No MonaVie event is complete without the presence of The MORE Project. In keeping with the theme of the day, The MORE Project Executive Director Katy Holt-Larsen implored everyone to begin donating this year at a leadership level. Some ways to do this include the following:

Take it to the Next Level
More than just an opportunity to receive valuable training, the Ruby Fly-In is a time for Ruby Executives to be rewarded for their blossoming businesses. Following Thursday's meeting, the distributors headed to Soldier Hollow Resort to enjoy snow tubing and dinner.

Friday, distributors descended upon Park City, Utah, to ski, snowboard, and shop while others stayed at the Zermatt Resort & Spa for European-style spa treatments. For the distributors in attendance, the Ruby Fly-In was a spectacular introduction to the world of MonaVie incentive trips and surely gave them something to ponder, along with Founder, Chairman, and CEO Dallin A. Larsen's words, as they traveled home.

"I want to thank you for doing what was necessary to get to Ruby," Dallin said. "Now, I want you to know that we're counting on you to take it to the next level."

MonaVie is open for business in Hong Kong!

We are pleased to announce the official launch of business operations in Hong Kong on Monday, 8 February 2010 (MST-USA).

The launch of MonaVie Hong Kong marks our first new market opening for 2010. MonaVie is now open in 12 countries with more international expansion plans on the horizon.

Below are some features immediately available to new distributors in Hong Kong:
