Lily Anderson, 10, a National Sensation after Stirring Performance of National Anthem

Ten-year-old Lily Anderson, the daughter of Gold Executives Jennifer and Joey Anderson, has been battling stage 4 neuroblastoma since 2009. As Lily has bravely faced several rounds of chemotherapy and surgery, she's inspired countless individuals across the globe. On Thursday, July 28, Lily inspired the more than 38,000 in attendance at Turner Field with her beautiful voice, as she sang the National Anthem prior to the Atlanta Braves game that night.

After receiving a well-deserved extended standing ovation, Lily's rendition quickly hit the national scene with news outlets across the U.S. picking up on the story.

"Joey and I are so very proud of Lily," Jennifer said. "We couldn't believe how poised, brave, strong, and beautiful every word came out. But, considering all that she's been through, singing in front of 40,000 people was nothing to her. It puts a lot of things in perspective."
