First Annual MonaVie 5k for the MORE Project
MonaVie held its first annual 5k for the MORE Project on Saturday, September 26, 2009, in South Jordan, Utah. Nearly 100 corporate employees and their families turned out to test their mettle against the 5k-course and in the process raised $4,734.89 to go toward the MORE Project’s programs.

Marketing Communications Project Manager Dave Jones provided the greatest monetary contribution by a corporate employee by raising a total of $2,460.89.
"We are continually amazed by MonaVie’s culture of giving back," said Katy Holt-Larsen, executive director of the MORE Project. "It was wonderful to see the corporate employees' enthusiasm for the MORE Project at this event. We are extremely happy to be partnered with MonaVie."
The MORE Project seeks to change lives and restore impoverished families in Brazil by providing individuals with the skills, resources, and support that will free them from the cycle of poverty and help them begin new lives filled with hope, health, and dignity.
