Keith Jeffords, MD, DDS, is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with expertise in weight loss, skin and laser care, body contouring surgeries, and facial surgeries.
Dr. Jeffords is recognized for being the plastic surgeon for Ron Lester (weight loss patient and actor from Varsity Blues, Not Another Teen Movie, and TV’s Popular). He has appeared with Ron on The Montel Williams Show, Discovery Health Channel, Entertainment Tonight and in People magazine. Ron Lester plays “Dr. Jeffords” in the feature film, The Fat Boy Chronicles, a character named for Dr. Jeffords.
A speaker in demand, he has lectured and presented papers to many medical societies. Dr. Jeffords has also appeared on CNN Presents and the Daystar Network. He has numerous media appearances in both radio and television, and is a Castle Connolly “Top Doctor” as announced in Atlanta magazine.
Dr. Jeffords is an alumnus of seven universities. He has a BS from Lee University, a DDS from Emory University, and an MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard University and Oral and Maxillofacial Residency at the University of Miami. His General Surgery Prerequisite Training was at Eastern Virginia. He studied Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Pennsylvania State University and completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the internationally recognized program at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Jeffords has been published in the medical literature from scientific journal articles, a chapter co-author, and as a technical editor. He has written articles for New You Magazine and served on their Editorial Advisory Board.
Dr. Jeffords is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
