Response to Salt Lake Tribune Article & ESOP Lawsuit Allegations

You may have noticed or heard about the article published December 19, 2014, in The Salt Lake Tribune that outlines a lawsuit a former employee has brought against MonaVie that deals with the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

While this is a matter that impacts employees and not distributors, we wanted to make you aware of the truth before hearing about it from any other source.

First and foremost, the article in The Salt Lake Tribune only outlines what the allegations state. In fact, the company itself is not listed as a defendant in the case. We have, though, reviewed the class action complaint internally, and the claims and allegations are exaggerated and misrepresent the truth.
