New Gold Executive—Leonie LaPoint
Congratulations to Leonie LaPoint from Novato, California, on achieving the rank of Gold Executive. Here's what she had to say on reaching this impressive milestone…
"My journey with MonaVie began in June 2009 when my friend introduced me to the product. I began drinking MonaVie Active and started feeling a difference in a matter of weeks! Loving the product, I actively started building the business. I reached Star 500, Star 1,000, and Bronze Executive and then got stuck! I had set and reset my goals over time. In January 2011, my goal was to be a Gold Executive by December 31.
"When the Cruise for Gold promotion was announced, my friend Black Diamond Kathleen Deggelman checked in with me to see where I was in my business. I told her the Cruise for Gold promotion was great but wasn't going to happen for me. Perhaps next year. 'No,' said Kathleen. 'You can easily make it to Gold this year, and I will help you get there!' That shifted my mindset, and I started believing I could qualify for Gold.
"My mentor and friend Jill Paul (Emerald Executive) sent me and people on my team certificates that she made herself stating, 'I achieved the level of Gold and am going on the Cruise!' She had each of us take pictures holding our certificates for her dream board. I put it by my computer so I could see it every day. Her belief in me started a little fire in my belly.
"The MonaVie RVL promotion really kicked things in gear. Jill got on the phone and told me how I could reach Silver. I went for it and did! I called every person I had ever given RVL samples to, as well as those who had been on AutoShip or stopped using RVL. Some got back on the RVL program and back on AutoShip. One friend ordered several months' worth of product to lose some weight. The next week she told me, 'Guess what? You're going Gold this week!'
"Skeptical, but willing to take on the challenge, I started off the week strong. I am a single mom, so between work, kids, carpooling, etc., I did not have a lot of time to waste. I set all my efforts and focus on my goal. I strategized with team members, strategized with Jill, and talked to her several times a day. I was making progress, but by Thursday I started to lose hope of reaching my goal.
"That week I attended a seminar where someone shared this statement from a very successful person: 'It is 80 percent mindset and 20 percent how-to.' I thought, 'I am not going to give up. I have worked so hard, and I'm going Gold!' I didn't know 'how to' on Friday morning, but I knew I was going to! This is truly a team effort. I will re-qualify for Gold again two weeks in a row in November and look forward to meeting you all on the cruise! Thank you, MonaVie, and my heroes and mentors, Kathleen Deggelman and Jill Paul."
