Mark Macdonald Discusses Antioxidants’ Role in Achieving a Healthy Lifestyle (WFMJ, NBC News)
Recently, Mark Macdonald discussed the role antioxidants play in achieving a healthy lifestyle with the news team on WFMJ (NBC) in Youngstown, OH. As news reporter Kate Keller shares in the video segment below, 97% of the population is antioxidant-deficient. Mark goes on to further explain:
“You need at least 9-13 servings of fruits and veggies to get the right amount of antioxidants to neutralize the free radicals, and the average person is getting less than two. So if you’re not finding a way to have more fruits and veggies… then you’re losing the battle internally.”
Mark always gives good advice—as we all know—but it’s especially important as the cold and flu season draws near.
