Ten Healthy Recipes to Celebrate National Fruit & Vegetables Month

It’s no secret that fruits and vegetables play a significant role in the human diet. According to studies, getting the proper daily servings of fruits and vegetables has been “strongly associated with reduced risk for some forms of cancer, heart disease, stroke, and other chronic diseases.” Many fruits and vegetables are high in antioxidants (like our personal favorite superfruit, açai), which can help with metabolic activity and eliminating carcinogens from the body. The Great Outdoors: Three Reasons to Take Your Workout Outside

When summer (finally!) rolls around every year, the warm breeze and sunshine make it almost painful to spend time cooped up indoors. That’s why summer is the perfect time to head outdoors for a workout. Whether it’s jogging, hiking, a game of softball, or simply chasing your kids around the park, getting your heart rate up in the fresh air has loads of benefits.

Top 5 mynt pre-launch #momynts (recap)

So…did you watch it? The pre-launch of mynt.

It really seemed like a launch in many respects—product was introduced, the opportunity opened for all, new videos and branding were introduced, and it was chock full of humor and entertainment, including a live band! Nonetheless, this was a virtual (online) pre-launch, and it was a real treat to watch.

Really, what can’t you do with duct tape these days?

MonaVie Team Rider Raimi Merritt, the winningest World Cup Champion in women’s wakeboarding, dominated the water at the IWWF Waterski and Wakeboard World Cup in Mandurah, Australia, last weekend to claim her ninth World Cup victory. The event ran March 15–16, 2014.

mynt Transforms Direct Selling Opportunity for Gen Y, Gen C

In part one (mynt: Dawn of a New Age in Direct Selling) of this multi-part blog series, I explained what mynt is, what it is not, and how the name “mynt” came to be. Today I want to share insights into the Gen C demographic, the main audience for mynt. I’ll also share ways you can follow and get involved with mynt, to keep up on the latest and greatest news.

“If Gen C won’t go to direct selling, then direct selling must go to Gen C.”

I think that’s how the expression goes. Oh, well…close enough to get the point, right?

MonaVie Blog Contributor: Brian Gill

I’ve been working in the direct selling industry now for more than 14 years, having previously worked as a distributor for two direct selling companies and then on the corporate marketing side for five different direct selling companies. My role at MonaVie as vice president of marketing communication is to get information out to all of you via our communication channels, and to encourage you to keep the conversations going and the news flowing on your own communication and social networks. I joined MonaVie in 2006 and was one of the company’s first 20 employees. I love my job! I received my B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University, an M.A. in English from Utah State University, and a professional certification in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of Utah. I love to read, write, hike with my family, and play racquetball and squash.

Distributor or Master Gardener: Why You Should Be Both

IF YOU CURSE THE RAIN AND THEN COMPLAIN WHEN THE SUN SHINES TOO HOT, YOU MAY BE MISSING OUT ON ONE OF LIFE’S GREATEST PRINCIPLES. CALL IT KARMA, THE LAW OF ATTRACTION, THE GOLDEN RULE, THE LAW OF THE HARVEST, OR ANY OF ITS OTHER MONIKERS. THIS AGE-OLD PRINCIPLE IS AGING LIKE A FINE WINE IN A WORLD OF INCREASING NEGATIVITY. PLANT THE SEED OF POSITIVE THINKING IN YOUR PROVERBIAL MONAVIE GARDEN AND WATCH WHAT GROWS!

When properly cared for, a garden will produce fruits and vegetables that are beneficial to the body. As useful as a garden is, however, it would be a shame if its practicality ended at the dinner table. A garden’s greatest value may be found in analogy.
