MonaVie Community Commerce℠: A Powerful Business Opportunity

When you think about it, the most powerful marketing that exists is when someone you know and trust recommends a good product to you. You’re much more likely to act on a personal recommendation than just about anything else.

This isn’t a new phenomenon. Long before the advent of slick radio, TV or Internet advertising campaigns that bombard us daily to buy certain products or services, word of mouth—the original social network—was king. And the place from which you gleaned your most important recommendations was from people you knew in the communities where you lived, worked and played.

It’s no different in 2011 except that the definition of community has expanded. Today, we still belong to traditional communities, such as neighborhoods and schools, but because of rapid technological advances, communities also include social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter. Regardless of the community, however, there’s a good chance that business or commerce will occur as a result of relationships you have developed in the various communities to which you belong.

At MonaVie, we’ve developed a business model that we call Community Commerce to capitalize on this age-old reality by parlaying personal marketing into a business opportunity that makes sense. As long as we are on this earth, we will consume products. MonaVie Community Commerce offers you the opportunity to consume quality products and to make residual income as you recommend these same products to others with whom you interact within the communities where you belong.

The power of Community Commerce is seen in the phenomenal success that MonaVie has experienced in the seven years since it was founded. Based on relationship building that has occurred through all kinds of communities where MonaVie distributors interact, our company was recognized as the No. 1 fastest growing company in the Inc. 500 Food & Beverage category in only our fifth year of existence.

What’s behind the phenomenal success of MonaVie Community Commerce? MonaVie is committed to producing premium nutritional products made from the rarest ingredients on earth that offer solutions to the most pressing health issues facing people today. Couple these amazing products with an extremely innovative and dynamic compensation plan, and it’s no wonder MonaVie is creating health, wealth and happiness all over the world. With 10 ways to earn income and 50% of the sales volume paid out in distributor commissions, MonaVie Community Commerce is a powerfully rewarding and sustainable business opportunity.

The beauty of the MonaVie Community Commerce business model is that it works wherever you are and whatever your circumstances. Successful MonaVie distributors are professionals, such as doctors, lawyers and educators. They’re stay-at-home moms who are supplementing or replacing lost income. Some have never had the opportunity for an education, but have the smarts and tenacity to create a successful business. Others live in Third World countries and are finding that MonaVie is the best microenterprise opportunity they’ve ever seen.

MonaVie Community Commerce creates the kind of opportunity and success that 1 billion people around the world who are unemployed or underemployed are currently seeking. When you purchase and consume MonaVie products, your health and well-being benefit. When you take it a step further and recommend these same products to others in the communities to which you belong, you can create a residual income that has the potential to outlive you.

I encourage you to please share this message of hope with your friends and associates.

Sincerely,

Jeff Cohen
Chief Marketing Officer

MonaVie and The Perfect Storm

MonaVie Chief Marketing Officer Jeff Cohen spoke to The New York Times article on declining incomes and escalation in unemployment in his post, MonaVie Provides Answer to Economic Downturn. In this piece he referenced the combination of MonaVie’s exceptional products and innovative and dynamic compensation plan as the right opportunity at the right time.

Renowned economist and MonaVie Imagine convention keynote, Paul Zane Pilzer, would agree, stating further that wellness and direct selling create a perfect storm of unprecedented economic opportunity. A statement he expands on in his article, appropriately titled, The Perfect Storm of Opportunity.

In said article he reports that between 2000 and 2005, wellness grew from a $200 billion industry to $400 billion and on it's way to being the next trillion dollar industry has had a dramatic impact on the democratization of American wealth, simply by linking the need for wellness products with the network marketing, home-based entrepreneurial business model.

The fortunes to be made today and in the years ahead will be made by those who are involved in teaching people about new products and services that they either didn’t know existed or didn’t know were now affordable. That is, intellectual distribution, as opposed to physical distribution, is where the greatest fortunes are being made today and will continue to be made...

MonaVie is certainly providing all of the above by offering premium products, entrepreneurial opportunity (minus the overhead), in a highly scalable business model, that addresses unemployment, as well as underemployment with this thing called residual income.

The result? A steady increase in ordinary working-class people who are making their way into the new millionaire’s club, as well as an overall increase in individual income and net worth.

In addition, MonaVie is having a positive impact on quality of life because it’s no longer an option to simply make an income if you must sacrifice lifestyle, family and well being in order to do so.

In summary, we’re getting healthy, enjoying a balance of work and family and creating unprecedented wealth while at it. It’s hard to feel bad about any of that...am I right or am I right?

To Retire, or Not to Retire; That is the Question. Is Community Commerce the Answer?

Check out the above snapshot USA Today posted recently. Now, let’s discuss.

Baby boomers everywhere are feeling the economical crunch and social security slip that may keep them in the work force well past retirement.

Why not look for an alternative; a way to build a highly residual income working in the after hours until you can drop the 9-5 gig for greener pastures and retirement haven?

Enter community commerce, aka direct selling, aka the only scalable business model to address the nearly 1 billion people globally that are unemployed or underemployed.

MonaVie is leading the way, by heralding the community commerce mission, providing opportunities for residual income, as well as the tools to grow your network.

Are you worried about retirement? What’s your (back up) retirement plan? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

Get Your Google+ Going

Ah, Google, you rock star search engine with the elusive algorithm that can make or break a company’s online reputation again and again. I see you doing cool things.

I’m a total fan of your work, from Google Maps (who knew seeing a 360-degree street-level image of my residence would be like Christmas in July?), to Google Translate – with your help I am now multilingual, or “fjöltyng” in Icelandic.

Google Calendar is no doubt every college student’s best friend with your pretty color systems and event-sharing capabilities. Oh, and the part of it being free is a perk, too.

Gmail chatting is my favorite way to conversate online.

And of course, Google Reader is the best way I’ve found to keep up on all my favorite sites.

I’ve shared how to put yourself on the map with Google Places.

So, when you decided to fully embrace the social networking world I couldn’t help but pay attention.

Enter stage right: Google+

Google+ aims to make sharing on the web more like sharing in real life.

Just like with the introduction of social media way back when, it’s important for entrepreneurs like you to at least know what it is and how it works. According to experts, it will save you time and, unlike Facebook and Linked in, it is indexed by Google (duh) which has an impact on search engine optimization (online visibility), which in the wide world of online stuffage, is kind of a big deal.

Plus you get Circles and Hangouts and Sparks and Huddles and Streams, which just sound super cool. Google says this is the just the first phase of the Google+ project. The easiest way to learn about all the features is to take a tour.

Here’s a quick guide to Google+ on About.com, “Google+ 101: A Quick Introduction to Google’s Social Network.”

Get your account set up today – here’s a snapshot of your beginning blank canvas:

Check it out and then check back and let me know what you think.

QUESTION: Would you like a tutorial on any of the Google+ content? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

Call Me! Telephone Time and Other (Similar) Business Building Tools

“No matter how old you are, no matter how tough you think you are, if a toddler hands you their ringing toy phone…You answer it.”

The telephone.

Invented in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell, the telephone is recognized as the most valuable patent in history. I doubt there are many who wonder why…

Telephones have come a long way in the last 135 years, certainly in the last 10 years, have they not? Gone are the days when children “played” telephone with a couple soup cans and cast away piece of yarn. Have I just dated myself?

Now even “land lines” and “pay phones” are fast becoming a blast from the past.

Yep, from babies to baby boomers and beyond, nearly everyone has a telephone (aka cell phone, mobile device) or access to a telephone and certainly everyone knows how to use a telephone.

So, how do you use your phone in your business?

Here are couple questions and/or references to get this conversation started:

What type of phone do you use? From a smart phone (iPhone and/or Android) to a simple push-tone with voice mail capability to an old school rotatory phone – how important is telephone technology to your business building efforts?

How much do you use your phone in your business building efforts? Do you call to confirm attendance at your next home tasting? How much time do you spend talking product orders and other transactional topics with MonaVie Distributor Support?

What about conference calls with your upline?

Are you an avid texter?

What about Skype? This is a great way to make Internet calls for free – a popular option for our international audiences and globe trotters in general…oh and poor college students who do not want to use their valued texting minutes on telephoning Mom and Dad back at the ranch (ask me how I know).

Did you know you can now Skype from your home phone, as well as, your smart phone? You can also video call using this service.

Oh, oh oh! I can’t believe I nearly forgot my newest discovery – you can actually accept credit card payments with your mobile phone. Check out the Square at squareup.com for more details.

Want to save some time on the telephone? Here’s one idea:

Are you aware of MonaVie’s GetSatisfaction team; a new and growing online community monitored and administrated by a host of MonaVie Distributor Support representatives with the sole purpose of answering questions. Distributors can ask questions, share ideas, report problems and give praise all in one social media savvy forum.

Check it out: MonaVie GetSatisfaction.

What other ways do you use your telephone to keep you connected, grow your business and make life a little less crazy? Leave me a comment below – I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Black Diamond Kathleen Deggelman on MonaVie’s Income Disclosure Statement

The MonaVie Income Disclosure Statement (IDS) is much more than a legal document. Yes, from a legal standpoint, it's important to point to the Income Disclosure Statement when you discuss the money part of the MonaVie opportunity. This document keeps our message grounded, preventing  false financial rumors from running wild. The IDS is important to the integrity of our growing distributor base, and I appreciate it for that.

What I really appreciate about the Income Disclosure Statement, though, is that this little document is one of the most powerful marketing tools available to us. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve seen the lightbulb go off for someone when I point my finger to the weekly or annual income column on the IDS.”

FIVE ways to leverage the MonaVie Income Disclosure Statement.

FYI: Facebook Timeline

"Facebook has unveiled Timeline, a major re-imagining of user profiles that allows users to build what’s essentially a visual scrapbook of everything they’ve done on the site." Mashable

I’m a fan…not only is it pretty to look at, but it’s a great alternative to scrap booking, which saves loads on fancy paper and teeny tiny embellishments – am I right, or am I right?

Now, some may say that privacy will be even more of an issue – if you agree, then make sure you get to know your personal privacy settings. They can be your best friend or worst enemy.

Oh, and as a random side note, I recently read serving tacos in North Dakota is quite the paying gig, so should this chief blogger thing not work out…I’m gonna need me a camper trailer stat (you'll have to read the linked article to get it).
