Aloha and Other Messages That Come in MonaVie Bottles

In a few short days, these bottles...

...will be finding their well-deserving Diamonds, whilst serving, as their exclusive and hard-earned invite to this year's much anticipated Diamond Destination to Maui, Hawaii.

So, whether you live in the mountains...

Or by a (man-made) stream...

Under a bridge...

Or atop a beam...post?

From this HQ...

To Y-O-U...we want to know how far and wide these meticulously coordinated messages-via-bottles will go.

So, if you're a Diamond (and above) who qualified for some sun, fun and aloha goodness, send me a photo (shantes@monavie.com) of you holding your exclusive grass-skirt-and-Hawaiian-flora-adorned "message in a bottle" so I can give you something too...

You're welcome.

MonaVie Star 1000 on CBC Battle of the Blades

November 17, 2010 UPDATE: Todd and skating partner Isabelle made it to the final show, which airs Sunday, November 21 at 8 pm EST on CBC. If you have access, be sure to tune in, cast your vote and help this MonaVie-er take home the gold! Voting details here.

His name is Todd Warriner and as a retired NHL player, sporting both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks jersey during his 10-season career, what a better way to raise money for The Heart and Stroke Foundation than to battle it out on the CBC show Battle of the Blades.

He is also an Olympic silver medalist and a MonaVie Star 1000 according to Ruby Executive Kyle Mitchell who sent in the following:

It would mean so much to Todd and our MonaVie team if we could get everyone in MonaVie Canada behind him and help him try and win the show.

Read more about Todd on the CBC site here. He successfully made it to week two, but his fate moving forward is in the hands of his viewing audience. The next episode airs this Sunday, October 10, 8 p.m. EST.

If you can, give him your vote during or after the show on Sunday and help him through to the finals!

Keep sharing it!

MonaVie Distributor Focus: Sam and Lisa Milad from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

Names

Sam & Lisa Milad

Where are you from?

Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

How were you introduced to MonaVie?

We were introduced to Monavie about a year ago when Ruby Executives, Tammy Rail and Andrew Parker and Blue Diamond Executives, Judy and Darren Deschamps enrolled their children in our private Montessori Elementary School.

Our family had just returned from a trip to Hawaii where both my husband and I were so tired that we were not able to enjoy it the way we would have liked to.  I said to him, something needs to change because we can’t keep this pace for the rest of our lives.

Little did we know that the answer to our prayers was waiting for us upon our arrival home.  I received a message at school that Tammy and Judy wanted to meet with me.  They presented a flip chart, gave me a bottle of juice to try, and Judy shared with me that she was making an average income, at that time, of $5000 per week!  I signed up that day and went home to share it with my family.

I had never engaged in the business side of a network marketing company before.  But when I went home, the next morning I read the success magazine and was thoroughly impressed with Dallin Larsen’s vision, with his integrity, with his and Karie’s heart for the children and families in Brazil and with all the other testimonials that I had read.  MonaVie’s vision was very much in line with our goals for our children and family and I was deeply moved and I shared those feelings with Sam and we decided that we would like to join the MonaVie family.

Milad Family

What is your "why?"

By: The Milad Kids

We like to be together as a family, so our first why is we want to retire our dad so that he can spend more time with us.  He is a lot of fun but he has a lot of work to do so we don’t get to spend as much time with him as we would like to.

Our second goal is our school.  Our family owns a private school called “Children of Integrity Montessori Academy.”  It is a very fun school to learn at and the teachers are really nice but it costs a lot of money to run.  My mom and Miss Anita, our Principal, prayed for a miracle, and this year two parents introduced them to MonaVie.

Our third goal is to help out the people in need. One day we want to go to Brazil. Dad has been there a few times and talks about how wonderful Brazil is. We think it would be fun and we would like to meet the children there!  We also want to try the acai berry!  Two other places that we want to go to help children in need are Malaysia and Egypt because that is where our grandparents come from.

What is your favorite moment with MonaVie?

The MonaVie’s International Vision Convention.

Share your best business building tip

“Do everything in wisdom and in order.”

Create order in your home:  Money will mean nothing if in the end your family falls apart. Figure out what that means for your family and put it into place. Find a balance that is right for your family.  Then go to work at building your business.

Involve your children (since for many of us they are part of our “WHY”).  They can be amazing prospectors.  Who wouldn’t be intrigued if a five year old told you that you should be drinking some healthy purple juice because it is good for you!   Educate them with the product and opportunity and see what happens!

Develop relationships of trust.  This is relational marketing.  It is not how fast you finish the race, just make sure you commit to finishing.

Plug into events.  Attend as many events, tastings, trainings as possible.  If you are in an area that does not have them, create them.

Where to from here? Goals, aspirations, plans...

After we retire the “dad” of our home, and our school is able to flourish financially on its own, we want to reach out to schools and children in developing countries and help support them in any way we can.  We are blessed with amazing teachers and families in our school who would love to have the opportunity to do the same.

Spend time together and travel the world with our family looking for opportunities to serve and use the talents and gifts we have been given.  The children would really like to visit Brazil, Malaysia and Egypt.

We have each other and we have sufficient for our needs.  MonaVie is going to allow us to reach outside of our little world and do our part in making this a better place for others.
