Beginning a More Meaningful Life with RVL!

Dear MonaVie Family,

When I was in the 9th grade, I wrestled at 98 pounds. When I graduated from High School in 1977, I weighed roughly 135 pounds. Since that time, my weight has continued going up each and every year it seems. At my peak, I weighed 220 pounds! Sometimes it’s not until you see a picture of yourself that you realize how much you’ve changed. I used to own weight loss franchises so I’ve been around weight loss programs for years and years; but, that still didn’t seem to help me. The older I’m getting, it just seems as though it’s harder for me to muster up the courage and energy to start another attempt at getting more fit.

My motivation for losing some weight (but more importantly, getting more healthy), is so that I can hopefully remain more active over the next 20-plus years in order to enjoy, with Karree, being involved in Boo and Dane’s youth. They are now 5 and 6 years old and I don’t want to be an old man when my two youngest reach teenage years. I need to be able to still frighten my girl’s boyfriends! :)

In September, we were all reminded how precious life is and how it can be taken from us at any moment. The week I returned from giving the eulogy at Darrell Utterbach’s funeral, I decided that it was time to take more personal time on improving my health and make it a higher priority.

I’ve tried doing this before and I generally get burned out after a few weeks, so I really need to be incredibly disciplined. As you all know, I travel a lot and I’ve made that an excuse for years and years as to why I just can’t get in very good shape. I’m not going to use that as an excuse anymore. I’ve now decided that at 51 years of age, I deserve to invest in myself and in my health instead of giving it away all the time.

With that, here are my goals, and I hope you’ll set some goals of your own:

Starting Weight: 198 pounds
Goal weight: 169 pounds.
(I haven’t weighed that little since I was probably 27 years old.)

I want to get on a scale on January 5, as we introduce RVL, and weigh in at 169 pounds. To do this, I’ll have to be disciplined through Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas holidays! This will be an enormously tough test for me, as I love to eat good food and I love chocolate. In addition to following my RVL program, my goal is to run or walk 20 miles each week.

Part of living a more meaningful life is having a healthy mind and body to experience life so richly. I know that if I can do it, you can too! Let’s make MonaVie the healthiest AND best company FOR the world! I’m doing this as a gift to my wife, to myself, and to my kids. Hopefully, that will be enough motivation to keep me going and turn away from the Snickers at Halloween. No problem, I’ll just reach for another MonaVie Chocolate Bar! Seriously, they’re insanely good.

Let’s all get healthy together!

Diamond Destination 2010: Message from Dallin and Karree

It appears those who qualified and attended the Diamond Destination are taking in the very best of Maui, Hawaii and the Grand Wailea Resort, Hotel and Spa, all the while enjoying some much deserved down time, fun in the sun and quality MonaVie family togetherness. Here's a brief message from Dallin and Karree, along with their two youngest children.

Oh and they have a moment of silence for those who could not be there...of course they kid, but perhaps the best recourse is to make sure you're there next year!

Oh and for more photos by CFO Devin Thorpe, visit his Facebook page, where he's posted albums from the first four days.

First Official City Meeting in Songpa-Gu, Seoul, Korea

The first official Korea City meeting was an overwhelming success with over 2,000 in attendance; standing room only. The room could occupy 1500 but in an effort to accommodate as many new and prospective distributors, they simply packed them all in. During the event Dallin asked for donations specifically for the family of the Korean Navy ship that sank over the weekend. For the next half hour, droves of attendees made their way to the stage to drop their donation envelope. MonaVie will match the total once it is calculated.

"It was a fantastic meeting and a great way to kick off our Korean market," said CEO and Founder Dallin A. Larsen.

A Message from Dallin A. Larsen

Hi MonaVie,

Dallin here.  Got back to Florida late Saturday night from the Anaheim Regional.  If you haven’t had a chance to watch it, I encourage you to do so.  Within the next few days, each of the presentations will be available as stand-alone presentations.  Until then, you can go to and scroll through the various presentations.  It was an amazing event with so many heartfelt presentations that it’s hard to pin point any one part that was my favorite. Certainly, the money raised for the kids in Haiti was emotional.  The final number will be shared with everyone this week some time but I believe it’s over $63,000.  Yonne, our 13 year old from Brazil who is part of the MORE Project, singing to the group and hearing her mom explain how the MORE Project has been a godsend to her family, was so moving.  And finally, what can I say about my niece, Sharlie, other than an angel was among us on Saturday.  Please, do your heart some good and watch Sharlie’s presentation.  She closed the day for us on Saturday.

We talked a lot about the “why” in MonaVie. What’s your why?  Why are you doing MonaVie?  You heard some of the folks on stage share their “why” for MonaVie.  What’s your why?  Maybe you can comment back to Shante and she can share with me some of your responses.  My why for MonaVie was first, to help feed our ten kids and support my family.  And, it was to make my parents proud of their son.  It’s grown from that initial “why” into something much larger.  Your “why” will also probably change along the way.  What I know for sure, however, is that you need to define your “why” so it will sustain you through the inevitable peaks and valleys of this business.

I love you guys!

Letters to Dallin

MonaVie Founder and CEO Dallin A. Larsen receives hundreds of emails from distributors around the world on a daily basis. He was so inspired by the many letters flooding in after the 2010 Global Kickoff webcast he asked that we share a few snippets from a handful of letters between now and Anaheim here on BlogMV. Here are the first in the series Letters to Dallin:

2010 is going to be a phenomenal year and we are anticipating great miracles! Our God-given dream is to be a blessing and to help change lives. We refuse to stop hoping in God no matter what our circumstances look like currently. We are definitely being stretched and are excited to see what God has in store for us. We intend to overcome and become significant and can't wait to share our story to inspire others. Don and Sandi Troiano

We are so humbled and honored to part of your team in MonaVie and in life.  Our home was filled with 50+ people filled with the willingness to hope for a better year in 2010 for their families and friends.  You and the incredible team you assembled delivered in high style!  We heard back from distributors world wide; the most common thing we heard by far was, "HOW CAN WE GET THIS WEBCAST?!!!"  People everywhere wanted to watch it again and share it with their teams as well as new prospects.  Our local MonaVie family made this video for you. Jonathan and Danielle Brown

Thank you so much for your call yesterday, it meant so much to me that you would give of your time to do so. Having worked for 13 mortgage companies over the span of 20 years, I have yet to have a call from the CEO of any of them, so your call demonstrates the heart you have for us in the field and we appreciate it very much! Dallin, all our hopes and dreams are resting on this business and we are “all in” with MonaVie. Thank you for daring to step out and make a difference for us! Greg Gempler

After watching the web cast last night, I felt like signing up again! I always love and enjoy hearing you speak. Everything from the awesome introduction, all the incentives, bonuses, M(mune) Randy S, to the blogging and most of all what we are all doing for the kids and families with The MORE Project. I truly believe MonaVie is so blessed because of what we do for the kids of Brazil and all around the world everyday! Dallin, I can't thank you and the rest of the executive team enough for putting together this wonderful product and opportunity for the world to live a better life by helping others.  I appreciate you Dallin! I love MonaVie. Daniel Cantero

The juice has had a profound effect on my personal health and we are now building the business.  I now have passion back in my life. I feel that the opportunity we have in front of us is way beyond selling juice.  We have the opportunity to change the world. Craig Williams

I just want to say that your webcast last night was life changing. I feel so lucky and blessed to be part of the Monavie family. Real quick I want to
share a story from last night. After the webcast I was getting text messages like crazy from my team members. One in particular that I want to share with you. Word for word this is what it said.

"OMG, are you watching? This company has become so much more to me!"

If that doesn't sum up the night I don't know what does. Tim Schmidt

My wife and I are very proud to be a part of the MonaVie team. Regardless of how small or large our part, we are proud to stand with you to make a difference in this world...the message [on the webcast] was fantastic and your vision is crystal clear...Onward and upward 2010, the year of miracles!!!! See you at the top, Kent and Krista Elmore

This company is like no other and I am so grateful to be a part of it. I want to personally thank you for what you have done to make this a company that genuinely cares about its distributors. We are all so very blessed. I'm excited for 2010 and what we are all going to do as a team for our families, for MonaVie, for the world. We really can change the world one person at a time. Molly LaPorta

The new incentive plans are great, I love what you do for the distributors. I look forward to seeing you in Orlando. BTW, I sponsored 121 distributors and it seems like I am on the 10 year plan to Black Diamond, but I am never going to quit until I find a couple Diamonds in my patch...Marcy Gordon Negri

I was so moved by hearing more information about the MORE Project I simply fell to my knees and prayed to God that he lead me to something bigger and better than what I am doing now, which is nothing , to help others. I have so much to give...I just want to say thank you for igniting the spark in my heart and to ask for whatever assistance you may be able to lead me to that will help me get a jump start on the path to success with Mona Vie...Sincerely, Tim Stunda

I too dreamed the same dream you did as a kid.  In the plains of Texas as a farm boy and rancher, raised with the same values that you have shared…I sit today living out those dreams.  I thank MonaVie for changing my life. I just reached Bronze Executive but am a Diamond waiting to happen…Many Blessings, Scott Dryden

You have to know that the reason I joined MonaVie, over and above the product, was that I saw men of character walking out "market place ministry"…I have heard it preached for years but have never seen it in action…thank you for giving the believer a home to make a difference in the business world...Blessings on you, Mark Piers

Following the 2010 Kickoff Global Webcast: A Message from MonaVie CEO Dallin A. Larsen

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year. Hope you’ve all watched the webcast. Sorry about the delay but you all crashed the system! We had to triple the number of servers allocated to meet the demand. Those are good problems to have.

2009 is over. 2010, 2011 and 2012 will be huge years for MonaVie. The second wave of momentum is coming. Make sure you and all your group are aware of (M)mūn™ as well as the Bronze through Emerald promotion. Let’s get more money into the pockets of your MonaVie family in 2010.

Wasn’t Sergio great!

Due to popular demand we are considering leaving the webcast on MonaVie TV for an extended period of time. I believe that if people will take the time to watch the webcast, they’ll get involved in MonaVie. Let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment here on BlogMV.

Okay, gotta run. Heading to Orlando to help support R3 Global TPC function this weekend. Rumor has it that there will be around 10,000 in attendance. 2010, it’s going to be big!!!

Love you guys,

Dallin A. Larsen

A Message from MonaVie CEO Dallin A. Larsen

Hi MonaVie Facebook Fans and Twitter Followers.  I understand we now have over 17,000 friends on Facebook in just a little over a month and we’re gaining momentum on Twitter as well.  That’s crazy.  I encourage you to use these channels as they will give you incredible access to the entire MonaVie family.

Let me just say that I’m very excited about 2010 and the direction of MonaVie in the upcoming year.  Many new initiatives will be unveiled throughout the year, including some that will be announced on the live web cast January 2010.  Make sure you watch this web cast so you start the new year right! Details will follow soon.

I just got back from a cruise with 89 of my immediate family.  My parents and all nine of my siblings and their spouses and children were there. Precious time together.  At the end of the day, life is about making a difference for others and creating lasting memories with those you love. Between my Larsen family and my MonaVie family, I’m surrounded by the best that life has to offer.  What a blessing.

As we begin this holiday season, may you have love in your heart and may we all reach out to those who are void of family and friends.  It’s the season of the year to do more and give more.  Let’s make a difference in the life of just one person this month and bring some joy to the world.

God bless all of you during this most wonderful time of the year and I’ll look forward to visiting with everyone in January as we begin the journey of 2010 together.  You are a blessing to me and my family.
