The Amazing Power of Community Commerce℠

During the past eight months since I started working at MonaVie, I have been amazed—and I’m not easily amazed.

In my past, I had the good fortune to work on infomercials for cable television, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on product development for a few direct sales companies. As a result, I had a healthy respect for the power of direct sales and personal marketing. But it wasn’t until I began working at MonaVie and started seeing the personal impact that MonaVie’s Community Commerce business model has on people’s lives that I gained a true appreciation for the beauty and power of what we offer. What I’ve learned as I’ve watched successful distributors at work is that community commerce is all about building relationships within the communities to which you belong and then recommending the products that you believe in to the people with whom you interact. No one does this better or in a more genuine way than MonaVie distributors. During the past few months as I have traveled extensively to meet with distributors across the vast MonaVie network, I have seen how our remarkable products have brought hope and renewed health to hundreds of thousands of people. Equally as moving are the stories of how MonaVie’s business opportunity has saved homes, cars and families struggling to survive one of the worst economic downturns since the Great Depression.

As many of you have shared your incredible stories of success with me, I have felt humbled, honored and amazed to be part of a company that is changing the lives of people from every walk of life. And I have felt even more motivation to make sure that what we are doing to create MonaVie 2.0—our strategy to take our company to the next phase of success and significance—will offer everyone involved the opportunity to achieve an even more meaningful life.

If you’re not already planning to join us in Dallas on January 13–14, please mark your calendar and click here to register for this historic meeting. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to be in attendance where we are set to reveal a whole new MonaVie to the world.

In the meantime, if you need inspiration to remember why you do what you do, visit the MonaVie Media Center to view “100 Testimonials in 100 Days”—firsthand accounts of distributors’ stories that will move and motivate you.

After you take a look, let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. If you’re like me, I think you will be amazed.

Sincerely,

Jeff Cohen

Join the RVLution!

In January 2011, MonaVie officially launched RVL, and, a year later, it is the premier weight management program on the market today. Thousands have tried the product, hundreds of thousands of pounds have been lost and, based on the volume of success stories we have received and continue to receive, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. And, the need has never been greater!

Here’s why:

  • Obesity skyrocketing in the U.S. – 1 in 3 adults in the United States is considered obese. In 2000, no state had an obesity prevalence rate of 30% or more, and, in 2011, 12 states have eclipsed 30%.
  • Diabetes on the rise – In 1995, only four states had a diabetes rate higher than 6%. Today, 43 states have a diabetes rate over 7%.
  • Childhood obesity – And, it’s not just adults…globally over 42 million children under the age of five are overweight, and chances of these children becoming obese as adults is extremely high.

With so much in the world that we can’t control these days, one thing that we control—even with the looming holiday season — is our weight. MonaVie has made this easier than ever with a simple 1-2-3 system that manages weight in a healthy way.  Featuring a delicious shake mix, crave-worthy snack bar and all-natural, metabolism boosting supplement, this premier weight solution has everything you need to reach your ideal weight. The proof is in the success stories, the dramatic before and after pictures and the healthier lifestyles people are living, as they use and share RVL. To provide even more incentive for people to get healthier in the new year, MonaVie is launching the MonaVie RVLution in January 2012, which promises to be the biggest promotion in the history of our industry! Over the next few weeks, we will provide details on this monumental promotion.  However, one thing I can tell you now is that MonaVie is up to the challenge! We will be giving away $1 million in prizes…that’s right $1 million in prizes to those who join and participate in the coming RVLution!

Plan now to have a healthier, more meaningful life in 2012. Join the RVLution!

Let me know if you’ll be joining us, and leave a comment below!

Restoring Hope in the Land of Smiles

A letter from Randy Larsen:

The spirit of giving is synonymous with MonaVie, and never was this more evident than when a group of distributors came together in response to the epic flooding that has impacted millions of people in Thailand.

While many anxiously await the full launch of MonaVie Thailand, we couldn’t be more thrilled as a group of 15–20 Thailand distributors, with compassionate hearts, banded together to organize and provide relief to hundreds of people afflicted by the worst flooding in Thailand in more than 80 years. These distributors perfectly exhibited the beauty of the MonaVie family and The MORE Project as they proactively went forth to give back to those in their local communities. They understood the tragedy firsthand and wanted to do MORE to make a difference—and they did just that.

I am proud to say that these gracious Thailand distributors, along with The MORE Project, raised more than 200,000 baht (THB) to provide food, sanitary items, and other relief supplies to nearly 1,000 families in the Uthaithani province of Thailand—the worst hit area of Thailand that has been underwater for a month. Families in this province have lost their homes and are now living in scattered shelters throughout the area.

Click here to view images and videos of this event.

Weeks earlier, MonaVie Thailand distributors visited the Taluk Village in the Chainat province and donated enough food and clean water to sustain members of 385 households for an entire week. MonaVie distributors passed out the food to each of these families. It was an incredible, emotional event as these families showered the distributors with gratitude for their help and sacrifice.

But it’s never a sacrifice to give. I have always believed what you give is returned, and we have already gained a greater love in our hearts for the Thailand people. As David Phelps (Regional President of Southeast Asia), Peter Willden (Vice President of Southeast Asia), MORE Project Executive Director Katy Holt-Larsen, and I stood alongside Thailand distributors to hand out these supplies, you could see in each person’s eyes and smiles their tremendous gratitude and an instant bond of friendship was created. That’s what this company is all about—coming to the rescue of those individuals and families who need a little hope and happiness added back into their lives.

Today, many distributors throughout Thailand are still coming together to raise money and to do what they can to help those who have been impacted by these horrible floods. Thank you for all your efforts and we will continue to do what we can to provide relief in each community throughout Thailand.

Thailand is known as the Land of Smiles, and through the combined efforts of our MonaVie family worldwide we are bringing smiles back to the faces of so many.

Sincerely,

Randy Larsen

Behold, the Power of the Penny

Black Diamond Kathleen Deggelman shares her insights regarding the power of the penny with her most recent article, How to Get Rich from a Penny and Earn Income for Life.

In this piece Kathleen charts the value of a single penny if it were to double it's value each day for 30 days. See chart below:

Kathleen then likens this to the MonaVie compensation plan and how she went from "zero to millionaire" in 23 short months.

Never Worry About Layoffs Again

If you’re a part of the 22 percent who are worried about being laid off, now is a good time to:

A.     Find a new job

B.     Move in with your relatives

C.     Create a residual income stream

Monster.com can help you with option A; perhaps Pods.com can help you with option B…

MonaVie can help you with option C! Through the use of community commerce, aka direct selling, you will be given the system and tools to build a residual income in those non-working hours.

Many are saying goodbye to their 9-5 work (horse) jobs and embracing the only scalable model to address the global concerns related to unemployment and underemployment – community commerce.

Still worried about being laid off? Learn more at the upcoming MonaVie 2.0 event, held January 13-14 in Dallas, Texas.

Weekly Round Up: October 21, 2011

This week we learned that Black Diamond Randy Haugen is not only an upcoming movie star (in Forward The Network Marketing Movie) but also a talented and requested speaker at I am MonaVie city meetings, especially on topics related to MVP.

You’ve probably seen all the Cruise for Gold qualifier stories popping up all over the MonaVie Media Center. If not, go here. Black Diamond Kathleen Deggelman is also getting in on the recognition action, recently spotlighting friend and Emerald Executive Jill Paul on her website.

You have one more week to save on the Dollar-for-PV promotion on RVL 3-Day Sample Packs and Single-Serve Packets – this deal ends October 28! Make sure to stock up and save now so you can lose more later! See what I did there?

We lost a beloved technology maven this month with the passing of late Apple founder Steve Jobs. As a Mac lover since graduate school, I learned of the news upon opening a new browser, which defaults to Apple.com and seeing a simple tribute page to the industry icon and visionary.

If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences, please email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

Bloomsberg Businessweek releases weekly magazines, loaded with articles about home, finance, technology, innovation, management, small business and global insights. On September 19, 2011, the publication cover title was America Isn’t Working, a compelling follow up to MonaVie “1 Billion” statement.

Take a look at top story “Can Retraining Give Unemployed a Second Change?” and namely the subtitle, “Americans looking for employment often lack the skills they needs. Retraining works. Sometimes.”

You know what works…every time? Community commerce.

In fact, MonaVie Founder and CEO Dallin Larsen discussed the powerful benefits with international government and industry leaders in Washington, D.C. last weekend which is kind of a big deal, especially if it means having a positive impact on the 1.8 billion people worldwide who will never be employed. At least I think so.

Also, an interesting note…you most likely have all the skills necessary to be successful in community commerce, and if you feel you need some training, then we got your back with the upcoming launch of MVP (short for MonaVie Values People). This business building and training solution will be unveiled at the MonaVie 2.0 event, to be held January 13-14 in Dallas, Texas.

And the best news…your income is residual and limitless.

If you’re still wondering what this thing called community commerce is exactly, Chief Marketing Officer Jeff Cohen hits us with another compelling article on BlogMV, appropriately titled MonaVie Community Commerce℠: The No. 1 Business Opportunity.

It’s a good one. Read it. Leave a comment. Tell me to stop being so bossy.

Until next time...

MonaVie Community Commerce℠: A Powerful Business Opportunity

When you think about it, the most powerful marketing that exists is when someone you know and trust recommends a good product to you. You’re much more likely to act on a personal recommendation than just about anything else.

This isn’t a new phenomenon. Long before the advent of slick radio, TV or Internet advertising campaigns that bombard us daily to buy certain products or services, word of mouth—the original social network—was king. And the place from which you gleaned your most important recommendations was from people you knew in the communities where you lived, worked and played.

It’s no different in 2011 except that the definition of community has expanded. Today, we still belong to traditional communities, such as neighborhoods and schools, but because of rapid technological advances, communities also include social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter. Regardless of the community, however, there’s a good chance that business or commerce will occur as a result of relationships you have developed in the various communities to which you belong.

At MonaVie, we’ve developed a business model that we call Community Commerce to capitalize on this age-old reality by parlaying personal marketing into a business opportunity that makes sense. As long as we are on this earth, we will consume products. MonaVie Community Commerce offers you the opportunity to consume quality products and to make residual income as you recommend these same products to others with whom you interact within the communities where you belong.

The power of Community Commerce is seen in the phenomenal success that MonaVie has experienced in the seven years since it was founded. Based on relationship building that has occurred through all kinds of communities where MonaVie distributors interact, our company was recognized as the No. 1 fastest growing company in the Inc. 500 Food & Beverage category in only our fifth year of existence.

What’s behind the phenomenal success of MonaVie Community Commerce? MonaVie is committed to producing premium nutritional products made from the rarest ingredients on earth that offer solutions to the most pressing health issues facing people today. Couple these amazing products with an extremely innovative and dynamic compensation plan, and it’s no wonder MonaVie is creating health, wealth and happiness all over the world. With 10 ways to earn income and 50% of the sales volume paid out in distributor commissions, MonaVie Community Commerce is a powerfully rewarding and sustainable business opportunity.

The beauty of the MonaVie Community Commerce business model is that it works wherever you are and whatever your circumstances. Successful MonaVie distributors are professionals, such as doctors, lawyers and educators. They’re stay-at-home moms who are supplementing or replacing lost income. Some have never had the opportunity for an education, but have the smarts and tenacity to create a successful business. Others live in Third World countries and are finding that MonaVie is the best microenterprise opportunity they’ve ever seen.

MonaVie Community Commerce creates the kind of opportunity and success that 1 billion people around the world who are unemployed or underemployed are currently seeking. When you purchase and consume MonaVie products, your health and well-being benefit. When you take it a step further and recommend these same products to others in the communities to which you belong, you can create a residual income that has the potential to outlive you.

I encourage you to please share this message of hope with your friends and associates.

Sincerely,

Jeff Cohen
